Suns' Dillon Brooks Explains Why He Wanted Warriors to Beat Clippers in NBA Play-In Game on Video
Dillon Brooks is more than happy with the matchup he and the Phoenix Suns have on deck this Friday in the play-in tournament.
Brooks explained that he's looking forward to going up against Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, Steve Kerr and the Golden State Warriors.
"Steph and Draymond. That's it. And Steve Kerr," Brooks told reporters.

Draymond Sick Before Win

Every Team's Biggest Regret This Season 😞
It's not a secret that Brooks has a history with the Warriors, dating back to his time with the Memphis Grizzlies. The beef between the two sides began during the 2022 playoffs when the Warriors beat Memphis en route to a championship.
The rivalry picked back up last season when the Warriors faced Brooks and the Houston Rockets in the first round. Golden State won the chippy series in seven games.
Brooks and Green have specifically gotten into it, both on and off the court. Last year, Brooks called Green a "dirty player" during the first-round matchup.
"No, I think the dirty player is Draymond [Green], giving him a little push as regular basketball players do," Brooks told reporters.
Later in the series, Green chirped back at Brooks, calling him a "sucker" after Brooks decided not to shake hands with the Warriors after the Game 7 loss.
"Dillon Brooks ran off the court. So when I see when I say you see what guys is made of, he ran off the court. Like, ain't shake nobody up," Green said on his podcast. "That's who Dillon Brooks is, you know what I'm saying? We understand, you a sucker, man."
Brooks has been on the losing side of his two previous matchups against the Warriors, but he'll look to change that this time. A win means earning the No. 8 seed in the playoffs, while a loss means Phoenix's season is over.
