WrestleMania 28 Predictions: John Cena Will Pin The Rock to End Epic Feud
The big day has finally arrived. After a full year of feuding, The Rock and John Cena will enter the ring and battle for their place among professional wrestling's all-time greats. It's one of the toughest matches to predict in a long time, but I fully expect Cena to pick up a clean victory.
Since Rocky returned from an extended hiatus for the home stretch leading to WrestleMania, there's been a lot of talking but no physical contact. Vince McMahon didn't want to tip his hand one way or the other ahead of time.
Far too often, longtime wrestling fans are able to predict a match's outcome simply by the build prior to a pay-per-view. But neither Cena nor Rock have developed a clear upper hand heading into the main event on Sunday night.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
That means making an educated guess comes down to figuring out what will happen after the year's marquee event if either guy wins.
If The Rock were to win, Cena would walk away looking weak. While everybody loves throwing around the idea of a heel turn, his promo on Raw made it painfully obvious that won't be happening anytime soon, barring a major swerve.
After WrestleMania, Rock will be leaving once again. As a huge fan of the Attitude Era, it's always nice to have him around, but he's never going to be back full-time. That's certainly the case here, as he has several movie roles lined up.
So, without a heel turn for Cena, there's no logical reason to let The Rock win. The WWE doesn't need to push a talent who will be leaving anyway. And even in defeat, the Team Bring It captain will still maintain a strong fanbase.
After all, a Cena victory would only further prove the point fans have been making for years. He always rises above the challenge, usually with relative ease. A win tonight would only bring more hatred for Cena. It wouldn't change Rock's status.
While Cena has become a popular talking point, most notably about how to fix his character, the WWE seems happy with his current place. He's drawing huge crowd reactions, split between positive and negative, and his merchandise continues to move.
Why mess with a good thing. Beating The Rock would take the company's biggest star to a new level in the mainstream and would make the WWE Universe even more passionate about his character.
In a match without any potential perfect results that are within reason, that's the best-case scenario for McMahon and Co. That's why Cena will once again prove his dominance tonight.
