NFL Rumors: Miami Dolphins Only Logic Fit for Unconventional Tim Tebow
Now that the Peyton Manning frenzy is over, it's Tim Tebow’s turn.
The Denver Broncos are reportedly set to trade the 24-year-old according to ESPN's Adam Schefter:
"More filed to ESPN: And now that Peyton Manning has directed his agent to get deal done with Denver, Broncos will try to trade Tim Tebow.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
While teams like the Jacksonville Jaguars, Cleveland Browns and New England Patriots are being tossed around, the only logically choice is the Miami Dolphins.
The Jaguars have too much invested in Blaine Gabbert, the Browns are a franchise that would never make such a bold move and the Pats aren’t bringing in a guy they just beat 45-10 in the playoffs.
The Dolphins are wide-open at the quarterback position. FOX Sports' Jay Glazer reports they have just signed free-agent David Garrard:
"Just got a text from David Garrard telling me he's now a Miami Dolphin
— Jay Glazer (@JayGlazer) March 20, 2012"
Big deal. A guy with back issues that skipped the entire 2011 season is not exactly projected to save the franchise. Garrard is going to be the backup regardless of if Tebow comes to town or not.
Wherever Tebow lands, the offense has to be completely revamped to cater to his strengths. It’s predicated on a strong running game with a sturdy O-line. The Miami run game is just fine, and using the eighth overall pick on a linemen like Riley Reiff make the Dolphins offense more than capable of making the switch.
The receiving unit is rather awful with the departure of Brandon Marshall, but they have strong slot guys like Brian Hartline and Davone Bess that can help Tebow get rid of the ball quickly.
With the extra draft picks in the Marshall trade, they can certainly find a guy in the middle rounds of the draft that can stretch the field.
The offense is not established and if the Broncos can remake their unit in the middle of the season, the Dolphins certainly can do it in an entire offseason.
On the field it makes plenty of sense, off the field it’s a no-brainer.
The Sunshine State loves their Tebow and a reunion would make the Dolphins relevant again. No team has had a worse offseason thus far than Miami; free agents don’t want to go there because of the failures of the front office and the entire league is taking note.
Tebow would rejuvenate a franchise that is bordering on irrelevancy with revenues plummeting.
Say what you will about his mechanics, but there is no denying that Tebow has a playoff win and improved in almost every game throughout the season. With his work ethic, he will only get better.
With the chip on his shoulder of getting rejected by the Broncos, Tebow has never been hungrier. If there is any player that can bounce back from something like this it's Tebow. He's not wired like most players. He isn't going to be angry at the Broncos if they trade him. The Heisman Trophy winner will brush it off, wish them well, and move on to his next team.
There are only so many opportunities to make a stale franchise relevant, especially when the cost is only a few draft picks. The Dolphins need to ensure they land Tebow and enter the 2012 season with some semblance of hope.
Right now fans are excited about landing Garrard and that’s all you need to know.
