Matt JuulJun 7, 2018

Bellator Fighting Championship may not be one of the most popular mixed martial arts promotions out there, but it definitely is one of the most exciting.

Entering its fourth year, Bellator has already provided fight fans with insane battles and breathtaking moments while featuring some of the best fighters outside of the UFC.

As fans prepare themselves for the premiere of season six, now just over a month away, let's take a look at some of the sickest knockouts Bellator has on YouTube.

Eric Prindle vs. Ron Sparks, Bellator 56

1 of 10

Battling for a spot in the heavyweight tournament finale, heavy hitters Eric Prindle and Ron Sparks were prepared for war at Bellator 56.

But this heavyweight battle wouldn't even go a minute as Prindle needed just 40 seconds to put Sparks to sleep.

A five-time Army boxing champion, Prindle's knockout power shined through as he sent Sparks face first into the canvas when he countered a low kick with a huge left hook.

Chad Leonhard vs. Dan Keenan, Bellator 9

2 of 10

Dan Keenan tried his hardest to stay in this fight, but Chad Leonhard's relentless attacks proved too much.

Halfway through the first round, Leonhard pounced on his injured prey, keeping the pressure on as he rained down strikes.

Trying to stand back up, Keenan ate a huge knee, viciously ending this catchweight bout.

Patricio Freire vs. Wilson Reis, Bellator 41

3 of 10

In a rematch of their 2010 battle, Patricio Friere and Wilson Reis would go to war again at Bellator 41.

Halfway through the third round, Friere turned up the intensity as he let his hands loose on Reis'.

After numerous, dead on blows, Reis finally went down, allowing Friere to advance to the featherweight tournament finale.

Zoila Frausto vs. Rosi Sexton, Bellator 23

4 of 10

Zoila Frausto wasted no time punching her ticket into the women's season three tournament, taking just two minutes to finish Rosi Sexton.

Outmatched on the feet, Sexton made the mistake of standing and banging with Frausto, whose huge left knee sent Sexton crashing into the mats.

After a few follow up punches, it was all over as Frausto would earn her season three tournament spot in emphatic fashion.

Pat Curran vs. Marlon Sandro, Bellator 48

5 of 10

Dropping down to featherweight for the summer series tournament, Pat Curran would again make it to the season finale, taking on veteran Marlon Sandro.

Sandro was the heavy favorite and was dominating the bout for almost two rounds.

But in a stunning turn of a events, Sandro momentarily dropped his hands, opening himself up for a huge head kick that would spell the end for the long time veteran.

This was an amazing comeback for Curran, as well as one of the most exciting Bellator knockouts of last summer.

Alexis Vila vs. Joe Warren, Bellator 51

6 of 10

Looking to stake a claim in the bantamweight division, Joe Warren would go on to regret cutting down to 135.

Taking on the explosive Alexis Vila in the season five quarter finals, Warren was sent packing after just 1:04 of action.

Countering with a giant left hook, Vila instantly knocked the Warren out in one of the most shocking moments from last year's bantamweight tournament.

Rick Hawn vs. Levon Maynard, Bellator 33

7 of 10

An experienced judoka, Rick Hawn would put his grappling skills on display at Bellator 33.

Slipping after a head kick, Levon Maynard tried to capitalize on Hawn's momentary mishap, but the judo specialist quickly recovered and scored a huge throw.

Following up with some ground and pound strikes, Hawn would finish Maynard with just seconds left in the first round.

Hector Lombard vs. Falaniko Vitale, Bellator 44

8 of 10

One of the most formidable middleweights not fighting in the UFC, Hector Lombard has made a name for himself as Bellator's biggest star.

Taking on Falankio Vitale at Bellator 44, Lombard would show why he's a powerhouse at 185.

Eating a huge right hook, Vitale went out as soon as the punch landed. This is just another highlight reel knockout for the middleweight champion.

Patricky Pitbull vs. Toby Imada, Bellator 39

9 of 10

Patricky Pitbull earned his moniker for his exciting style and brutal finishes.

Taking on Toby Imada at Bellator 39, Pitbull would live up to his name has he landed an insane flying knee in the first round.

This sick finish has become a staple of Bellator's knockout highlight reels.

Yahir Reyes vs. Estevan Payan, Bellator 6

10 of 10

Two unknowns fighting for a relatively new promotion at the time, Yahir Reyes' knockout of Estevan Payan would put Bellator on the map.

In this Knockout of the Year winning performance, Reyes would throw a spinning backfist that cracked Payan so hard on the jaw that the whole stadium could hear it.

This brutal finish is one of the most insane knockouts in Bellator history.
