WWE Raw: Did Anyone Notice John Cena Showed His True Colors on Monday Night?
While we all were excited to see the battle between Daniel Bryan and CM Punk, did we miss the fact John Cena became a major player again in the WWE?
Cena, who lost the battle at the Royal Rumble (it was a double count-out) to Kane, came back with a vengeance on Monday night, coming to the aid of Eve and beating the hell out of the Big Red Machine, much to the delight of the crowd in Kansas City.
And with each crushing blow of rage in Cena's body, we saw a smile get brighter and brighter.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Cena has risen above the hate and shown he can be just as dangerous when he has to be to get his point across. And he did not succumb to the hate at all.
The move by Cena, which had to happen in the wake of last week's demise of Zack Ryder, proves a few things that will be helpful for the WWE as it moves toward WrestleMania 28.
First, Cena is now a true "hero" again with the WWE Universe and the IWC. Cena showed he can finally come through and attack his opponent as a "face" and still be vengeful. It was truly a great moment and sight to watch.
The move also meant the two can be viable opponents for a few more weeks while Cena prepares for the match against The Rock at WrestleMania 28. What happens then is anyone's guess, and I suspect Kane may enter into an angle with Undertaker, maybe the last stand for the Dead Man.
This also means Cena gains a few more cheers leading up to the match with The Rock. After a year of planning (which was way too long) we will see the two favorites in the ring. Hopefully the hype will not be the thing we talk about and we will be left speechless in terms of performance (in a good way).
And while Cena proved he can rise above the hate, even if part of it was self-inflicted, it also shows the company's biggest star of the last decade still has enough stones to make himself relevant with the influx of talent like CM Punk, Chris Jericho and newcomers like Wade Barrett, Sheamus and Cody Rhodes.
Yes, Cena can still steal a show every once in a while.
