Broncos vs. Patriots: Tom Brady Will End Tebow Time Tonight
There’s no denying that Tim Tebow has had a great run, and that in the process, the Denver Broncos have picked up a new collection of fans across the country.
All good things must come to an end, however, and that end will happen in the wilds of suburban Boston today.
Tom Brady is a proven postseason quarterback, and he has more weapons at his beck and call.

More than that, however, Brady has a lot to prove.
And if you don’t think so, just look at the way the media this week fixated on Tebow and the Broncos at the expense of Brady and the Patriots, despite New England being an almost two-touchdown favorite.
Brady has lost his last three postseason starts, and it’s not going to get stretched out to a four-game skid.
The Patriots produced the third-most points in the league this year with Brady calling the shots. And they come into the game on a major roll—the winners of eight straight.
In the course of the winning streak, Brady has thrown 19 touchdowns and just two interceptions. He’s confounded his history of being a pocket quarterback by running for three more scores in that time.
But it’s been a long time since Brady won Super Bowls in his first three chances with the Patriots in the playoffs.
He was 14-2 in postseason games before his current January slump, falling to the Giants in the 2007 Super Bowl, then losing to the Ravens two seasons ago and to the Jets last year.
Brady led the Patriots to a win over the Broncos in Denver last month. Leading New England past Denver this time around is doable.
Brady tends to set up short in the pocket, which takes away from the Broncos’ chance to put on a strong rush.
And without that kind of rush, Brady will have the chance to pick apart the Denver defenders.
Tebow has had a great run, including the overtime win last week. But it ends today.
