Tim Tebow's Faults Will Be Painfully Clear After Tom Brady-Led Playoff Beatdown
Tim Tebow's massive faults will be on vivid display as they glitter against the foil of Tom Brady's polished game.
In many ways, Brady and Tebow are polar opposites at the QB position. While Tebow certainly brings a running dynamic that Brady does not, it is what Brady brings to the table that Tebow does not currently have in his arsenal that is going to lead to the Patriots easily handling the Broncos.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Broncos offense is prone to long bouts of ineffectiveness. They like to run the ball as much as possible, and when those runs are stuffed on first and second down, it leads to passing situations that the Broncos have a hard time succeeding in.
Denver finished 30th in the NFL in third down conversion percentage largely due to this fact.
The Broncos are forced into this style because Tebow's erratic throws are not well suited for a quick strike efficient passing game that teams, like the Patriots, often use in early downs to supplement their run game.
These stretches of offensive ineffectiveness are going to doom the Broncos as they go up against the high powered Patriots' offense.
Limited Offense
This is the second time Tebow has faced the Patriots. That means Bill Belichick will be going through his second week of putting together a game plan for Tebow, and this time he will do so having already had a chance to see how his defenses worked against him.
While the Broncos will no doubt make some adjustments of their own, they are limited in what they can do because this offense is limited.
As we just talked about, Tebow is not an efficient quarterback at this point. That limits the passing offense, and it limits the ways in which the Broncos can attack the Patriots.
New England will have no such problems with Tom Brady under center.
Ability to Read Defense
One of Tom Brady's greatest assets is his ability to diagnose a defense. He does this pre- and post-snap. This allows him to make quick reads and get the ball out of his hands quickly to open receivers.
It allows him to know when to look for a hot read when there is a blitz coming, and when he can take shots down the field.
Conversely, this is one of Tebow's biggest weaknesses. The young QB has never been asked to rely on his ability to read a defense. The spread option is about making one quick read and going.
And when a play does not develop as planned, Tebow has relied on his feet to break down a defense. While that certainly creates some big plays, it is a hard way to find continued success.
While Brady is busy picking apart the Broncos' defense like a surgeon, Tebow is going to be running around and trying to create miracles. He will not be able to keep pace.
