Fantasy Football Week 14 Waiver Wire: Isaac Guerendo Tops Must-Add Free Agent List
The final week of the 2024 fantasy football regular season is here.
For many managers, it's now time to strap in for an exciting matchup that will determine their playoff seeding or if they even make the field at all. Those who have been eliminated from postseason contention should also remain invested for one more week, as there is still a chance to play spoiler to rivals or make a last-ditch run to secure a high-score challenge.
If you are lacking a complete roster at this late juncture of the season, the waiver wire remains a viable option to round out the lineup with. There are plenty of starting-caliber talents widely available in free-agent pools right now. There's even a potential fantasy superstar lurking in Isaac Guerendo, a player who could swing championships for the lucky managers who manage to land him this week.
With that in mind, here's an overview of the top waiver targets for Week 14 and how much you should consider bidding if your league uses a FAAB system. All suggestions are rostered in 50 percent or fewer of Yahoo! Sports leagues.

QB Russell Wilson, Pittsburgh Steelers (35 Percent Rostered)
1 of 5
Suggested FAAB Bid: $3-5
Russell Wilson just put together his best performance since donning a Pittsburgh Steelers uniform, cooking the rival Cincinnati Bengals for an eye-popping 414 yards and three touchdowns while completing 29 of his 38 throws.
Wilson's vintage Week 13 outing resulted in 27.9 fantasy points—the quarterback's highest total since Week 8 of the 2020 season—and a QB3 finish that matched his impressive Steelers debut back in Week 7.
While Wilson started strong, he's had just one top-10 finish between Weeks 8 and 12 and hadn't ranked higher than the QB19 during the two weeks leading up to his re-emergence against Cincinnati on Sunday,
Expect Wilson to stay hot as the fantasy regular season concludes and the playoffs get underway. He gets a do-over against the Cleveland Browns in Week 14—a team he posted a meager 13.8 fantasy points against on the road two weeks ago—before facing a Philadelphia Eagles defense that most recently conceded a QB5 finish to Lamar Jackson.
Speaking of the Baltimore Ravens, Wilson has a dream matchup when his squad squares off with its most bitter AFC North rival in Week 16. Baltimore is giving up 20.3 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks this season—the fourth-most in the league—and could allow Wilson to put up season-highs during a critical point in the fantasy playoffs.
If you've been streaming signal-callers, scoop up Wilson for the stretch run. He'll not only get you through the regular-season finale, but he should also be the best free-agent option for the duration of the playoffs as well.
RB Isaac Guerendo, San Francisco 49ers (11 Percent Rostered)
2 of 5
Suggested FAAB Bid: $65-75
The San Francisco 49ers have not only likely lost superstar running back Christian McCaffrey for the remainder of the season, but backup Jordan Mason as well.
According to head coach Kyle Shanahan (per ESPN's Nick Wagoner), McCaffrey's 2024 campaign is likely over after he suffered a PCL injury in a blowout loss to the Buffalo Bills. Mason is set to join McCaffrey on the IR list after it was revealed the backup suffered a high-ankle sprain in the same contest.
These injuries have opened the door for Isaac Guerendo to bust out as a fantasy RB1.
Guerendo showed flashes of his potential earlier in the season while working alongside a banged-up Mason during McCaffrey's initial absence. He went off for 99 rushing yards on a mere 10 carries in Week 6 and notched a top-10 finish two weeks later by piling up 102 yards and a touchdown on 17 touches.
It appears will now become the go-to back in San Francisco's injury-ravaged offense for the first time. He helped pick up some of the the slack after McCaffrey exited on Sunday, ending the game with 19 yards on four carries and one catch for negative-three yards.
While he only posted a meager 8.6 fantasy points and an RB35 finish in Week 13, Guerendo is in line for a massive spike in both volume and production as the new focal point of San Francisco's rushing-based attack.
Scheduling is relatively favorable to Guerendo's fantasy prospects as well. Over the next three weeks, the Niners are slated to face three defenses in the Chicago Bears, Los Angeles Rams and Miami Dolphins, which all rank in the bottom half of points allowed to the RB position.
Even with the No. 3 ranked Detroit Lions on the docket for fantasy's championship week, Guerendo should still get enough volume to be well worth a start.
Considering his potential and the stakes at this point in the season, it's time for every manager with any sort of RB depth concerns to go all in to land Guerendo. Don't be afraid to spend the majority of your remaining FAAB or use a top waiver wire priority to make it happen.
RB Blake Corum, Los Angeles Rams (14 Percent Rostered)
3 of 5
Suggested FAAB Bid: $2-4
Blake Corum has spent much of his first professional season buried behind Kyren Williams on the depth chart, but the Los Angeles Rams running back has begun to show glimpses of his potential in recent weeks.
The Michigan product just saw his heaviest usage yet during a Week 13 bout against the New Orleans Saints, rushing eight times for an efficient 42 yards.
Even though Corum hasn't heard his number called often—he's put up a lowly 21.9 fantasy points across the first 12 games of his career and hasn't logged a finish higher than RB40—it appears it's only a matter of time before he gets more involved in L.A.'s offense.
Williams had been generally struggling before a flukey 15-carry, 104-yard, one-touchdown game against the New Orleans' sieve-like rush defense on Sunday. He's been phased out of the passing attack almost entirely—seeing just one target over the last three weeks after amassing 31 looks over the first 10 weeks—and could start ceding more work to Corum in the waning portion of the season.
Factoring in the fumbling issues—Williams has coughed up five and lost three already this year—passing blocking concerns and other woes that have been plaguing the starter, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Corum force his way into a more even timeshare sooner than later.
Shrewd managers should get ahead of this development by picking up Corum now. Even though he won't be startable until head coach Sean McVay makes an adjustment, Corum could soon become one of the most coveted waiver-wire pickups and have a tangible impact on the fantasy playoffs
If you have the roster space, scoop up Corum cheaply this week and keep him on your bench while waiting for his inevitable breakout. There's a real chance he'll start earning a meaningful workload within the next few weeks and become a difference-maker down the stretch.
WR Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Tennessee Titans (17 Percent Rostered)
4 of 5
Suggested FAAB Bid: $4-6
It's becoming impossible to ignore Nick Westbrook-Ikhine's string of productive fantasy performances.
While it initially appeared that the Tennessee Titans wideout was coming back down to earth after his four-game scoring streak ended in Week 10, he's since broken back out with touchdowns in each of his last three contests—a stretch that included a pair of TDs against the Washington Commanders on Sunday.
That Week 13 scoring explosion led to 21.1 fantasy points and a season-best WR7 finish for Westbrook-Ikhine.
It's clear Westbrook-Ikhine has the trust of quarterback Will Levis, whose Week 10 return from a three-game absence sparked the receiver's latest stretch of impactful outings. The battery has linked up for 10 receptions on 22 targets for 257 yards and four touchdowns over the last month, including an impressive 98-yard catch and run score against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 11.
While Westbrook-Ikhine isn't getting a ton of volume, he saw a season-high eight targets come his way on Sunday and has garnered at least five looks in each of his last three games. He's finished in the top 25 all three weeks and in the top 10 during two of them.
The wideout has a juicy matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars on tap for Week 14, a team that has allowed the third-most fantasy points to wide receivers this year and has given up 24 passing touchdowns in 2024, the second-most in the league.
Given his knack for putting points on the board and a lack of capable options widely available at the position, any receiver-needy manager should put a claim in for Westbrook-Ikhine immediately.
TE Hunter Henry, New England Patriots (45 Percent Rostered)
5 of 5
Suggested FAAB Bid: $1-3
It's mildly shocking that Hunter Henry is still available in most leagues, especially given the dearth of tight ends putting up consistent fantasy numbers in 2024. Even though he's mired in one of the league's most inept offenses, Henry has quietly put together a solid campaign that has him ranked as the TE9 through 13 weeks.
Henry has had just one "bad" game since Week 5, posting at least 9.4 points in all but one contest since and tallying a double-digit point total in five of those seven matchups. He's coming off his second top-10 finish in three weeks, having reeled in seven of nine targets for 75 yards against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.
The reason for this sustained success is Henry's chemistry with Drake Maye. The rookie quarterback has been leaning on his big tight end heavily since taking over as the full-time starter in Week 6. Henry has been targeted at least six times, caught five or more passes and racked up 40-plus yards in all but one game since Week 7 kicked off.
While Henry hasn't been scoring touchdowns—he has just one on the season—and would be a top-five fantasy producer if he was finding the end zone with more regularity, he's still well worth an add for his stable role in New England's scheme.
Even with the Patriots heading into a Week 14 bye, fantasy managers in need of a consistent tight end for the playoffs should make a forward-looking waiver claim on Henry.
He's almost certainly going to be the best performer of the free-agent tight end bunch during the three-week fantasy postseason and could be a difference-maker at this oft-overlooked position when it matters most.
