
Tom Brady Donates $100K to Hurricane Milton Relief Efforts in Florida
NFL legend Tom Brady has donated $100,000 to aid the relief efforts after Hurricane Milton made landfall in Florida on Wednesday night.
Brady announced his donation will help provide essentials, including food, water and first aid, to residents in the state.

Hurricane Milton was declared a Category 5 hurricane on Monday in the Gulf of Mexico.
When it made landfall on Wednesday near Siesta Key, Florida, it was dropped down to a Category 3 hurricane and weakened to a Category 1 as it went through the state and moved offshore, per the National Hurricane Center (h/t CNN.com).
As of Thursday morning, there were more than 3.3 million Florida residents without power.
FEMA Director Deanne Criswell told CNN's Kate Bolduan the state "avoided that worst-case scenario" they were planning for, but it will still need resources to recover from the damage.
This marks the second hurricane that has hit the state of Florida in two weeks. Hurricane Helene was a Category 4 hurricane that made landfall in the Big Bend area of the Florida Gulf Coast on Sept. 26. It hit several states in the Southeastern part of the United States, including Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina.
Brady played the final three seasons of his NFL career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He also owns a mansion in Miami.
A seven-time Super Bowl champion, Brady played 23 years in the NFL from 2000 to '22. He is in his first season as a television broadcast analyst for Fox's NFL coverage.
