The End Begins: Chris Jericho's Return a Great Heel Tactic
Like many others, I had my eyes glued to the TV watching Chris Jericho's return, waiting to see him do something.
A heel tactic, a face promo, anything. We were all waiting for Jericho to do something, he had to do something.
And he did nothing.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
For the course of what seemed like an eternity, Jericho ran around the ring giving fans high fives. If you thought it was one of the cheesiest things you've seen in wrestling history, chances are you're not alone in your opinion.
Mission accomplished...That was the point.
Jericho came back and effectively mocked every babyface in the wrestling business that comes out and panders to fans, begging the hypocrites and sycophants for their adoration.
Jericho didn't say a word, and he got one of the biggest pops in recent history, and certainly the biggest pop of the night.
And people, while happy to see The Best in The World at What He Does back in the ring, were left confused.
The nickname should end all confusion. Don't forget, Jericho returned to reclaim what was his. CM Punk seemingly "stole" Jericho's vacated title in his absence.
Expect Jericho to come back next week and throw his return in the audience's faces, noting how pathetic the hypocrites were to let him hold their emotions in the palm of his hand.
The question here is, has what seemed to be a poor return killed the momentum already?
