Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Rhea Ripley
There is no wrestler on the WWE main roster more likely to earn a victory at the two-night spectacle than Rhea Ripley.
When WWE creative took the SmackDown Women's Championship away from Ronda Rousey and handed it to a newly minted face in Charlotte Flair, the writing was on the wall for the 26-year-old's WrestleMania victory.
There is little doubt that the match between Ripley and Rousey would be more entertaining and a bigger draw, but the company clearly doesn't want Rousey to lose on such a huge stage. Instead, Flair will be tasked with putting on a great in-ring performance against Ripley, as the two did at WrestleMania 36.
This time, though, Ripley will earn a much-needed victory and confirm the belief that she is a top star now and will be moving into the future. In the gambling world, Ripley would be considered a stone-cold lock.
Brock Lesnar
A victory over Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania would make Omos one of the biggest stories in all of wrestling. Unfortunately, the man who defeated The Undertaker and took away his streak will not take a loss against an inexperienced, unproven talent.
While the visual of Omos standing toe-to-toe with Lesnar is appealing, The Beast will dominate his opponent like he has so many others in the past.
Lesnar is one of the most physically impressive athletes ever to step foot inside a wrestling ring, and his bona fide pay-per-view presence is undeniable. While there is a chance Omos eventually develops into a top draw for the company, he is far from The Beast's level and should take the fall within just a few minutes.
Expect the big man to get his offense in, but The Beast will end the bout quickly in dominant fashion.
Austin Theory
Any time John Cena is in a wrestling match, the odds should be in his favor due to his long history of not putting other talents over and earning victories in bouts he should lose. This time must be different, though.
The stage has been set perfectly for the young upstart Austin Theory to finally get his hands on Cena. The veteran should put up a good fight, pushing the young star to his limits, but Theory should retain his title and cement his place as a cornerstone of the main roster.
Cena does not need a win. Not today. Not tomorrow. Not ever again. He is a made man in the wrestling industry and should be using his status to help other fresh-faced performers get over with the crowd and earn legitimacy in the eyes of the people backstage.
Theory could be a top draw with a little help from the 16-time world champion.
With Triple H in charge and a new generation of creative thinkers behind the scenes, Cena has no business earning a United States Championship victory. If he were to win, it would be one of the biggest travesties in recent memory and just another chapter in the long list of burials.
The company needs to do the right thing and give Theory the biggest win of his life.
