Lions' Derrick Barnes Dresses as Spider-Man with His Son in New Video for NFL Opener vs. Saints

Detroit Lions linebacker Derrick Barnes turned heads before he even stepped on the field ahead of Sunday's season opener against the New Orleans Saints.
Barnes arrived at the stadium dressed up in matching Spider-Man outfits with his son:

It was quite the entrance and a notable way to start off what will be his sixth season with the NFC North team.
Detroit selected him in the 2021 NFL draft, and he turned in his best individual season in 2025 with 78 tackles, four sacks, three passes defended and one interception.
But if Sunday's outfit was a sign of things to come, he could be in for an even better season in 2026.
