NFL Playoff Picture: Kansas City Chiefs and Teams That Can Play Spoiler
As Week 17 of the NFL season approaches, the season is effectively over for most of the league's teams. While there are only a handful of teams fighting for playoff positioning or a final spot, there are many more that have little on their mind other than spoiling somebody else's year.
While most possible playoff teams would probably much rather play a cellar dweller this weekend, they can be the most dangerous teams since they have nothing to lose.
Here are three teams that enter the final week of the regular season with nothing on the line and have a chance to significantly alter the postseason picture.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Buffalo Bills have certainly disappointed in losing seven of their past eight games after a 5-2 start, but they got into the spoiling spirit early as they knocked off the AFC West-leading Denver Broncos 40-14 last week.
The loss puts the Broncos in a virtual must-win situation this week and it put a smile on the face of the Oakland Raiders as they have an opportunity to sneak into the playoffs.
While the Bills won't be able to knock a team out of the playoffs this week, they have a chance to affect seeding. Buffalo will have a tough road game against the New England Patriots who need a win to secure the AFC's No. 1 seed.
The Bills shockingly beat the Pats earlier in the year and may feel like they have the formula to do it again. New England will be determined to win, but if the Buffalo defense is as opportunistic as it was last week and previously against the Patriots, then an upset could be in the making.
St. Louis Rams
Despite being pegged as the favorite in the NFC West prior to the season, the St. Louis Rams have had an awful season. Not only do they have just two wins, but quarterback Sam Bradford has regressed in his second year and the defense has been a joke.
With that said, though, the season can end on a high note with a win over the team that truly grabbed the reins in the NFC West, the San Francisco 49ers.
At 12-3 the Niners have been a bully in the division all season and are a win away from clinching a first-round bye. The New Orleans Saints are lurking, however, and would steal the No. 2 spot with a win and a San Francisco loss.
While the 49ers continue to win, there have been some noticeable chinks the armor lately. No matter what happens this season will be considered an epic failure for St. Louis, but with players and coaches possibly playing for their jobs, I would expect an inspired effort on Sunday.
The Kansas City Chiefs' season got off to a nightmarish start with safety Eric Berry and running back Jamaal Charles suffering season-ending injuries in the first two weeks. The Chiefs persevered, however, and got themselves back in the hunt.
A couple losses and an injury to quarterback Matt Cassel pretty much ended their playoff hopes, though. Even so, Kansas City has played much better recently with Kyle Orton under center, handing the Green Bay Packers their only loss.
With everything that has happened to them this year, the Chiefs have a chance to finish with a respectable 7-9 record and can spoil the rival Denver Broncos' season in the process. Denver either needs a win or an Oakland Raiders' loss to make the playoffs, so this is a huge game.
Because of how heated the rivalry is and because Orton will surely want revenge on the team that dumped him in favor of Tim Tebow, I think Kansas City will be at its best.
