Reigns shared his thoughts on the main event during the post-show. We also got to hear from Kevin Owens following his return tonight.
The main event went more than 40 minutes, but when it was all said and done, Reigns was victorious. There was no interference and no cheating. He did it clean and overcame his biggest rival.
The two men sat across from each other in opposite corners and looked a little emotional about what just happened. Reigns got up, walked to the middle of the ring, and extended his fist.
Rollins put his fist out and the crowd erupted for the former Shield teammates seemingly ending their feud once and for all.
When Rollins saw that the ref was knocked out, he went out of the ring to grab a steel chair. Reigns decked him to knock him down and prevent him from using it. The Tribal Chief picked up the chair and tossed it out of the ring.
Rollins looked surprised that Reigns wanted to finish this man-to-man. They came together in the middle of the ring and started brawling. Rollins seemed like he had a bit more left in the tank, but his insults only served to fire Roman up.
Seth brushed off a Superman Punch and hit a Pedigree. He missed the Stomp on his first try, but hit it on the second. He climbed to the top rope but missed when he came down. Reigns hit two Spears in a row, but the ref was still down.
He hit a third right before the ref came back in to count the three and declare him the winner.
WINNER: ROMAN REIGNS
A frustrated Reigns started talking a lot of trash as he beat on Rollins. He ran the ropes and ran right into a Spear from Rollins, but it only got him a two-count.
He picked up The OTC and hit a buckle bomb, but Reigns avoided the stomp and hit him with a buckle bomb in return. He followed up with Seth's signature Stomp, but it wasn't enough to get the pin.
They started to talk trash to each other as they slowly got back to their feet. Reigns swung first as they started trading punches.
Rollins made a reference to Jon Moxley before attempting a double underhook DDT. Reigns countered and took him down before setting up in the corner. Rollins avoided the Spear, but the ref didn't.
Rollins hit a Stomp but there was nobody to make the count.
Both men were almost counted out. When they got back to the ring, Seth immediately hit a Pedigree for a two-count.
Both men were looking worse for wear, but The OTC was in the driver's seat. He got fired up and lined up for a Spear. Rollins jumped over him and hit the Stomp, but Roman kicked out at the last possible moment.
Rollins put the champion on the top turnbuckle for a superplex. Reigns tried to avoid it, but Seth was able to hit it. As soon as they were back up, Reigns put him in a guillotine choke.
He brought the challenger down to the mat and it looked like he had him dead to rights, but Rollins was able to power his way to his feet and break free. Reigns immediately drilled him with a Spear for a very close two-count.
Roman put Seth in the corner for a series of quick clotheslines followed by a running boot to the face. He signaled for the Superman Punch, but Rollins countered and sent him out of the ring with a clothesline.
The Visionary cleared off the Spanish announce table, but when he attempted a suicide dive, he was met with a huge right hand from Reigns. The ref seemed willing to overlook countouts as they fought into the crowd.
Rollins used a stanchion as a weapon, so the ref was also willing to overlook disqualifications. Reigns hit a suplex onto some metal plates on the floor, but when he went for a Spear, Rollins nailed him with a knee to the face.
Rollins tried to hit a Spear of his own, but Roman caught him and powerbombed him through the table he had cleared off earlier. When he recovered a few moments later, Rollins did the same thing to Reigns through a different announce table.
Unlike Rollins, Reigns did not have anything special added to his entrance. He was all business from the moment he appeared on the stage. Rollins jokingly offered a vest to Reigns so he could dress like the old days, but the OTC didn't respond.
They traded a few words before locking up for the first time. Reigns backed Rollins to the corner and shoved him just to show he was in control. Rollins put him in a headlock, but Reigns pushed him away and hit a shoulder block to take him down.
The Visionary came back with a sling blade, which seemed to catch Roman off guard. The Tribal Chief hit a couple of clotheslines, but Rollins responded with a couple of kicks to knock him back down.
In order to troll his opponent, Rollins had the audio from the original Shield entrance music play before his own music kicked in. He was wearing very colorful and ornate gear for this match.
It all comes down to this. Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship is the final match of SummerSlam.

Joe Hendry's music hit, and he came out with a guitar to help Danhausen fend off McDonagh. Danhausen and Dirty Dom fought on the turnbuckle below the money. When it looked like Dom would win, Danhausen caused the pyro in the corner to go off in his face.
After Dom fell off the ropes, Danhausen climbed up and retrieved the money to get the victory.
WINNER: DANHAUSEN
A pole with a bag of money was hung above one of the turnbuckles, and whoever could take it down first would win the match and get to keep the cash. Danhausen was billed from the same street The Munsters lived on.
Dirty Dom rushed Danhausen and took him down before going for the money, but the painted one stopped him. Dom set him up for the 619, but Danhausen avoided it and hit a northern lights suplex.
Danhausen countered the Three Amigos and hit a reverse DDT to give himself a little breathing room. Before he could climb up, JD McDonagh attacked him and hit a moonsault. There were no DQs, so this was allowed.
And so were the Minihausens who attacked McDonagh. He fought them off and delivered a different move to each one. Cole made a joke about JD not being used to being taller than an opponent.
The former El Torito took him down with a headscissor takedown. They all tried to climb up and get the money, but Dom stopped them.
The next match on the card saw Danhausen and Dirty Dom fight in a Human Monies on a Pole match.

Jade and Lash brought her down together, but then Lash hit a big boot to take out Cargill.
