Top seed Alexander Zverev stayed dominant, defeating Khachanov in straight sets.

Both players held serve early, but Zverev's relentless defense wore Khachanov down, allowing him to break and take the first set.

Zverev broke again early in the second set, but Khachanov quickly responded, snapping Zverev's streak of 37 consecutive service holds.

Khachanov threatened another break, but Zverev's powerful serve kept him in control.

The set went to a tiebreak, with Zverev pulling ahead before Khachanov fought back with four straight points.

Despite the comeback, Zverev remained composed and edged out the tiebreak 9-7 to claim a two-set lead.

In the third set, both players held serve, leading to another tiebreak. Khachanov surged ahead 5-2 and served for the set at 6-4 but failed to convert, sending forehands long. Zverev then won the final two points to seal the victory.

It was another impressive performance for the 2026 Wimbledon champion, who was consistently hitting first serves around 130 MPH while neutralizing Khachanov's dangerous forehand with top-tier defense.
