That is hardly something to rest all your confidence on, as the last spot for the postseason may in fact be a race to two. Whoever can close this season out with perfection should get the nod, as both teams have a fairly tough remaining schedule.

For the past few years we have been hit over the head that the Jets were a Super Bowl contender, and because of this, Ryan's Jets cannot take such a huge step backwards and still receive unwavering support from fans and players.
With the Bengals winning and the Jets struggling in New York, you will see desperation all over Ryan's face.
The Jets are on the wrong side of momentum, and that falls on the head coach.
