Tim Tebow SNL Video: Silly Spoof Takes Aim at Tebow's Passion
Tim Tebow is the LeBron James of the NFL.ย You either love him or hate him.ย But while opinionโs on LeBron are formed on interpretation of his selfishness, fans judge Tebow on his selflessness.
Saturday Night Live put on a skit about Tebow poking fun at his passion to praise God.ย The mockery isnโt a new development.ย Since the lockout ended, a camera has been in Tebowโs face whether the focus is about his failures in training camp or his success in the regular season and in either instance, he always attempts to squeeze God into the conversation.

Many adore him for it, but others voice their annoyance.
According to Sporting News, Jake Plummer revealed his stance on the controversial quarterback to a Phoenix radio station saying:
"Tebow, regardless of whether I wish heโd just shut up after aย gameย and go hug his teammates, I think heโs a winner and I respect that about him. ย I think that when he accepts the fact that we know that he loves Jesus Christ then I think Iโll like him a little better. ย I donโt hate him because of that, I just would rather not have to hear that every single time he takes a good snap or makes a good handoff.
"
Even Kurt Warner, one of the most outspoken Christians in the NFL during his day, said Tebow should take it down a notch.ย He told Dan Bickley of the Arizona Republic his advice for Tebow saying, โPut down the boldness in regards to the words, and keep living the way youโre living. ย Let your teammates do the talking for you. ย Let them cheer on your testimony.โ
Warner gave that warning not to shut up Tebow like Plummer preferred to put it, but because the former MVP is worried that the fiery QBโs faith will be a turnoff and trigger animosity to be directed his way from players around the league.ย What annoyed fans and players donโt realize is that Tebow isnโt forcing his beliefs on them; heโs simply following an order.
Jesusโ last words in the Bible, also known as the Great Commission, read: โGo and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.โ
Tebowโs methods are unconventional and thatโs the best way to go if he wants to get his point across.ย Conventional is boring and often goes unnoticed.ย But while thereโs absolutely nothing wrong with Tebowโs approach, at the same time, some people understandably just arenโt a fan of a megaphone being stuck in their face to get a message across.
Well, those people better get used to that megaphone because Tebow isnโt going away.
