WWE TLC: Biggest Reasons Non-Wrestling Fans Must Watch PPV

Andrew KulhaDec 17, 2011

Why would a non-wrestling fan ever pay money to watch WWE TLC?

That's the question that is currently running through my head, and will most likely permeate my thoughts as I contemplate whether or not I should throw down my hard earned money on this event.

Full disclosure, I am not a fan of wrestling.

It's not the fact that I dislike it, and it's not because I think it's dumb. I'm not a fan because I simply never got into it when I was a kid.

I am under the impression that the WWE is something that's in your blood.

I know full well that there are grown men out there who secretly hide the fact that they love WWE.

It's their guilty obsession.

There are also others that openly love the sport and would do anything to defend it to their friends, family and even co-workers.

I can admit to you that I am neither, but I am boldly stepping into your world.

I've done my research and seen enough to give you three reasons why a non-wrestling fan must watch WWE TLC:

1. Tables, Ladders and Chairs

Personally, I eat at tables, use ladders to climb up onto roofs and use chairs to sit on.

This does not seem to be the case with WWE TLC.

Apparently these tables, ladders and chairs are used to hurt other human beings, which sounds pretty awesome.

Instead of eating at a table, you can throw your opponent onto it. Instead of climbing up a ladder, you can use it in all sorts of malicious ways. Instead of sitting on a chair, you can break it over somebody's head.

I'm warming up to this.

2. Sledgehammer Ladder Match

I just saw that this would be part of the event.

I do not officially know what this means, but I can sort of get the gist of it from the title.

Watch angry men swing sledgehammers at each other?

Sounds good to me.

3. Triple Threat

My understanding is that a fellow by the name of CM Punk will be attending this event, and he will be defending his title against not one, but two people: Alberto Del Rio and The Miz.

I've been in a fair share of scuffles in my day, and I know that fighting with one person is hard enough, but two?

That alone should be worth tuning in for.

Conclusion

TLC is not just a '90s band, when combined with WWE it looks like it is more than entertaining enough to make it a must-watch for a non-wrestling fan.

You may have a new fan among your ranks very shortly.
