Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Time to pull ourselves from the sucking quicksand of negativity.
Okay Raheem, here's a ray of sunshine from the outside.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will somehow, someway, in some unfathomable fashion, find a way to upset the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday night.
Yes, the Buccaneers will get their fifth victory of this dismal season in the "Win One For Rah Bowl."
Amid the daily "Raheem Morris was really fired yesterday and named the new coach at Manchester United" rumors, business goes on at One Buc Place. General Manager Mark Dominik has locked himself in his office and the stench of 4-9 is pretty strong.
There will be victory for these Buccaneers. Last year these Bucs thrived with an "us against the world" mentality and now the world is crushing them again.
These Bucs will rally Saturday night and win.
Surely, you will suggest I have lost my mind on this one, right?
Well, consider that the Arizona Cardinals beat these Cowboys two weeks ago, 19-13, and the Cowboys are now on a two-game losing streak after getting bopped by the Giants.
Yes, a sorry team beat the Cowboys when their head coach, Jason Garrett, froze his own kicker who had just made the game-winning field goal. Not even Raheem Morris has done something as bone-headed as that, although Aqib Talib haters might beg to differ.
Keep in mind that Garrett also burdens himself the way Morris does—he's his own offensive coordinator.
And it's not like these 7-6 Cowboys are real world beaters. Tony Romo has had his screw-ups at crucial times this year and who knows, he might just pull one of those out Saturday night.
Keep this in mind: This one could come down to a field goal battle and Connor Barth is a lot better than Dan Bailey.
I know, I know, this is completely absurd. Somehow, someway, there's this feeling deep down inside that this team may simply go for broke, throw caution to the wind, and actually play a good game Saturday night.
There's nothing from the past seven weeks to suggest that they will.
But sometimes, every so often, the obvious is obviously wrong.
So here, Raheem Morris, is your single ray of sunshine "From The Outside."
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 20, Dallas Cowboys 17.
