Week 15 Waiver Wire: James Jones, Donald Driver and Randall Cobb Worth a Look
With news surfacing yesterday that Green Bay Packers receiver Greg Jennings will miss two to three weeks, three other receivers in Green Bay—Donald Driver, James Jones and Randall Cobb—might all warrant a look on the Week 15 waiver wire.
The idea here is that, while the Packers have plenty of mouths to feed in the passing game, one of the biggest eaters is getting taken out of that equation. Common sense says that others vying for targets in the offense will see more with Jennings out of the lineup.
Among the three, Driver might be the first to look at.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Owned in just 18 percent of ESPN leagues, the 36-year-old Driver is starting to heat up over the last two games. Driver caught two scores against the Giants in Week 13, then followed that up with a 74-yard performance last Sunday against the Raiders. Over his last four games, Driver has at least seven fantasy points in three.
Now, with Jennings on the shelf, it might fall on Driver to take some of his important snaps.
If it isn't Driver taking those snaps, then it'll likely be Jones, who's owned in 58.6 percent of ESPN leagues.
Jones has been up-and-down all season long, but the upside is definitely there. Jones has five games with eight or more fantasy points this season, including games with 140 yards and a score and 94 and a score. There's downside though, too. Jones has one or fewer catches in seven of 13 games in 2011.
You'll certainly have to weight the risk-reward when picking up Jones this week.
But the real wild card in the trio might be Cobb, the Packers' second-round pick who's mostly seen time as the kick and punt returner. Cobb is an electric player in the open field, and the Packers might lean on him to fill some of Jennings' short screens.
Of course, there's big risk with Cobb, as he hasn't caught a touchdown since Week 1 and only twice has he went over 40 yards receiving in a single game. Still, it's certainly easy to envision the Packers giving him some extra reps with little to play for over the final three games.
There definitely isn't a slam dunk pickup with any of these three, but they all warrant a look from a team in need of a receiver. It's more than likely that one of the three will emerge as a viable fantasy option in any given game over the last three.
