Wes Welker Injury: Updates on Patriots WR's Week 14 Status and Fantasy Value
Wes Welker is not big, but his numbers are huge.
Only one player in the league has been targeted more than the 5'9", 185-pound New England Patriot, but Welker has 18 more catches than anyone else in the league. He's a huge part of what the Patriots do offensively and a key component to their postseason success.
Welker was listed on the injury report because of knee issue, but there was never much doubt that he'd miss any time.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
According to NESN's Patriots beat writer, Jeff Howe, there is a new problem to worry about instead:
What we know about Welker is that he is one tough son of a gun and will play through basically anything.
While the soft cast on the wrist is a new development, it doesn't have people worried.
According to the Boston Herald's Ian Rapaport, Welker even showed up to a charity event wearing the soft cast and actually won a gift wrapping contest using the hand in question:
"The hard-nosed receiver looked fine otherwise and he actually won the gift-wrapping contest using that hand (as the Inside Track wrote). That means it can’t be that bad.
Oh, and then when he was at practice (left, in a Herald photo) yesterday, there either was no cast or it was covered up. Welker’s wrist wasn’t on the injury report because I’m told he wasn’t limited or encumbered in practice. And the team is usually pretty good about listing every, single, minute injury.
"
If he wasn't limited in practice then it is nothing serious to worry about.
Should Welker miss any action this week, we should expect to see Brady use his two favorite tight ends more against the Washington Redskins and possibly force a pass or two Chad Ochocinco's way.
Don't expect much to come of this, but we'll update if necessary.
