Bobby Valentine Would Help the Boston Red Sox Return to Glory
Teams have won World Series titles with a lot less talent than the Boston Red Sox currently have on their roster.
The Sox might need a pitcher or two, but they are not devoid of talent. They should be a contender every year.
Simple as that.

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
Yet somehow their 2011 collapse has everyone believing this team has no legitimate shot at major success with their current players.
That just couldn't be more wrong.
Firing Terry Francona may have been an overreaction, but what's done is done. You can't change that. Still though, if the Red Sox make the right hire, it will all work out it the end.
Obviously.
The talent is there. All Boston needs is the right manager to help the team utilize that talent.
Bobby Valentine, who was officially interviewed for the job yesterday, would be the right manager for the job.
He won the NL pennant in 2000 and took the Mets to the NLCS in 1999. He has an extremely dynamic personality and would certainly draw a lot of interest to the team—not that the team really needs that.
He's a loose and easy-going manager and would surely have everyone in the clubhouse comfortable and ready to play.
Valentine may be remembered most for his mustache disguise to get back into a game he was kicked out of, or maybe for his claim that he invented the sandwich wrap.
But that's what I like about him.
When it comes down to it, Valentine knows his baseball as much as the next guy, and that's the first thing you need in a manager.
But he's also a little crazy, and I think that gives him a little something extra that the Red Sox need.
The Sox have as much talent as any other team in the league. That's not their problem. They need a manager that will not only be able to help them continue to learn, but will be able to make them laugh and play in an enjoyable environment.
Crazy or not, Bobby Valentine is the perfect manager for a bunch of all-stars who, in short, need to just relax and play.
