Aaron Rodgers' Assault on the NFL Record Book and the Quarterback Gap
The NFL quarterback passer rating doesn't always tell the whole story. However, in the case of Aaron Rodgers, it tells the entire story and then some. The Green Bay Packers quarterback is the top passer in the NFL with a quarterback passer rating (QBPR) of 130.7.
Rodgers' QBPR Monday night against the Minnesota Vikings was 140.3, giving him nine straight games of a 110+ QBPR, which is an NFL record. However, what is perhaps even more impressive than that stat is the gap between Rodgers and the rest of the quarterbacks in the league.
The No. 2 ranked quarterback on the QBPR list this season is Tom Brady with a 102.0 QBPR. That 28.7 gap that separates Rodgers and Brady is nearly the same margin that separates Brady and Seattle Seahawks quarterback Tarvaris Jackson, who is the 27th best passer in the NFL with a 74.8 QBPR.

Rodgers also is closing in on an NFL record for most consecutive games with at least two touchdown passes. Currently, Rodgers is on a nine-game streak with at least two touchdown passes. The NFL record is 13 consecutive games held by Peyton Manning and Tom Brady.
