Ben Roethlisberger Injury: QB's Broken Thumb Won't Slow Steelers
A broken Ben Roethlisberger thumb will not slow down the Steelers. In fact, had the injury not been announced, it is unlikely anyone would have even had any reason to suspect he was injured.
Roethlisberger broke his thumb during Sunday's win over the Bengals. He played right through the injury and will be playing when the Steelers return from their bye in Week 12 against the Chiefs.
At least according to numerous reports like the following.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Roethlisberger shed a little insight as to how he would cope with the injury, and was quoted by Scott Brown of Pittsburghlive.com. Roethlisberger said, "It will be painful but it takes a lot to keep me out. We'll concoct a splint. I'll have a glove on for the rest of the year."
Considering this injury is on the thumb of his throwing hand, it would be reasonable to assume that it would give Big Ben problems. However, Roethlisberger is a freak of nature and will just power right through it.
It certainly didn't phase him on Sunday. Roethlisberger finished the game 21-33 with 245 yards and one touchdown.
He also has experience dealing with this injury. He broke the same thumb in 2005 and did not miss any time because of it. He also helped lead the Steelers to the Super Bowl title.
What's Ahead for Steelers
Helping the Steelers and Roethlisberger manage this injury is the fact that they get the bye week. They will then return to action against a reeling Chiefs team that will be without their starting QB.
The Chiefs game will give Ben time to adjust to the splint and be ready to go in the big game the next week against the Bengals.
Here is their remaining schedule:
Week 12 at Chiefs
Week 13 Bengals
Week 14 Browns
Week 15 at 49ers
Week 16 at Rams
Week 17 Browns
Conclusion
The Steelers are in great shape. They are tied for the best record in the AFC, and they only have two remaining games against teams with winning records.
Roethlisberger's injury will not keep them from capturing the best record in the AFC, and by the time the playoffs roll around this injury will be a thing of the past.
