El Pistolero Dynamic Displays Leads the Way for Resurgent Liverpool
He’s the man everyone wants to have on their team and the one you most certainly do not wish to face. Quick feet, eagle-eyed vision, perfect movement, eye-watering ball control and a machine-like work rate are the skills Liverpool’s Luis Suarez has to offer.
The 24-year-old breaks open the world’s best defences with unnatural passes through the acutest of angles, yet El Pistolero never seems to smile unless the ball is in the back of the net.
Having been named player of the tournament for his Copa America campaign, Luis Suarez has all the abilities of becoming Liverpool’s best modern player.

Smacking his hands on the floor like a five-year-old child and rolling around clenching his knees when fouled is not exactly what the public wants to see, but remains necessary to distinguish international (or should I say South American) players such as Suarez.
The Liverpool striker angers defences with his movement, and makes sure that when touched he goes down. Rio Ferdinand didn't know what to do with him a couple weeks back, watching the Uruguayan win five free kicks in front of goal and get three players—including himself—booked.
There is a very good reason why his nickname is "The Gunslinger," namely because he is the first and the quickest in every challenge, shot or dribble. As Kenny Dalglish reiterated in a post match conference on Saturday, he is “running out of words to describe him.”
Tony Pulis even hailed Suarez in their 1-0 victory over the Reds earlier in the season claiming that “He looks a real, real player. A player that will grace the Premier League. His movement and touch at times was different class.”
Suarez represents everything that every club should desire with his technical ability. Natural moments of genius spark the flamboyant striker to impulse any game he chooses, and he has lead Liverpool ever since his £22.8 million arrival from Ajax back in January.
It’s difficult to describe Suarez without turning this piece into prose, but the essential factor remains that he has replaced Fernando Torres’ absence to become the club’s No. 1 man.
Yes, of course Steven Gerrard is Liverpool's leader alongside Jamie Carragher but the Uruguayan hitman is a game-changer and represents everything the Reds needed since their midseason takeover by Fenway Sports Group.
It is his nonchalant attitude of not knowing who Dalglish or what the No. 7 shirt meant before coming to Liverpool that takes an almost laughable kin to his personality. Never keeping quiet during games and scoring astonishing goals always keeps Suarez in the Premier League spotlight, and being so young can only mean a bright future.
He is most certainly the player to watch this season with his bags of magical trickery. Suarez has already scored four goals, and the club’s exclusion from European competition means he may just punish the Premier League and push Liverpool into Champions League football next season.
