Sam Bradford Injury: Rams Smart to Sit Star QB
At 0-6, the St. Louis Rams' playoff chances are, to put it nicely, very slim. They've already declared quarterback Sam Bradford out for Week 8, and if they're smart they will wait until he is absolutely, without-a-doubt, 100 percent healthy to start him.
There's just nothing that merits rushing him back.
Bradford, the No. 1 pick out of Oklahoma in 2010, has already shown tons of potential.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
In his rookie year, the former Sooner threw for over 3,500 yards, 18 touchdowns and had a rating of 76.5.
And that was all without a true No. 1 receiver.
Bradford has been less than stellar this season, but the poor offensive line play, poor receiver play and a brutal schedule factors in as well.
Despite the recent ugly play, there's no question that Sam Bradford is the future of this team. And there's no point in rushing him back during the next few games.
It's unfortunate, but the season is a wash at this point. Why bring your quarterback of the future into a game that will benefit you in no way if you win?
Why risk Bradford to get him into a few meaningless games instead of keeping him safe for the rest of the season and career?
It all just seems like a no-brainer to me. Good for the Rams for using their brains for this situation.
It's a lose-lose situation if they play Bradford too early, and they are winning in the only way they can right now.
