Matthew Stafford Injury: Wounded Stafford Won't Rescue Lions from Defeat
Matthew Stafford is day-to-day after falling to injury on the last play of last week's game against the Falcons, but the Lions are bound for defeat regardless of whether he plays or not.
Some people are under the impression that the Lions are going to roll the Broncos whether it's Shaun Hill or Stafford under center. This is not the case.
The Lions have dropped two games in a row, and for the second week in a row, they're involved in a controversy stemming from their last outing. The unfocused Lions don't know how to handle success, but, more importantly, they don't know how to handle failure.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Lions aren't an elite team—they're a fringe playoff team that got off to a quick start. Not only are they going on the road after coming off two losses at home, but they don't match up well against the Broncos.
The Broncos rush for 114.3 YPG. The overrated Lions front is the 28th-ranked run defense in the NFL. With Tim Tebow at the helm, the throws may be ugly, but he is going to punish the Lions' run defense on the ground.
Kyle Vanden Bosch and Ndamukong Suh only have one sack apiece in their past four games. Jahvid Best is doubtful, Stafford, at best, is going to be banged up, and although Calvin Johnson is incredible, he has proven that even in monster games, his success doesn't equate to a Lions victory.
Johnson had 228 yards and one touchdown in his last two outings, but the Lions still managed to lose. The Lions can't run the ball and can't stop the run, which has made Megatron's efforts futile.
Von Miller has six sacks on the year and is going to get solid pressure. If Stafford plays with limited mobility, Von Miller might end up back on the sidelines anyways.
The Lions are going into what they believe is an easy win. Being fed another loss is going to give them a lot to think about during their bye week.
