Donovan McNabb Has Lost His Drive and Needs to Retire
Donovan McNabb is not interested in being a successful NFL QB, and he needs to retire while he still has a legacy worth protecting.
The writing has been on the wall since McNabb's failed stint with the Redskins last year, and now that the pattern is repeating with a second franchise, the evidence is simply too much to ignore.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
""What I was told by people in the organization is that he is the last one in the building and he's the first one gone. He's not willing to put the time in. He's late for meetings, late for practice, so they've just basically thrown up their hands and said, 'We need to move on because, ultimately, that's not what we want in a quarterback.'
"It happened in Washington and this is the reason he's not in Washington. If you go back and talk to people in Philadelphia, there were questionable work habits. Donovan's going to say, 'Hey, look, that's not all true.'"

McNabb has refuted reports like this. But I haven't noticed any players or coaches rushing to his defense.
All signs point to McNabb not putting in the work it would take for him to be successful. You have to wonder why he even bothers playing if football is this low of a priority to him.
McNabb has carved out a solid legacy in football. The longer he continues to play, while disrespecting the game by not working at it, the more his legacy dwindles to irrelevance. It is time for McNabb to just hang it up.
