Roma appointed a new, bright young manager, Luis Enrique, who previously was the coach of Barcelona B side and has helped in developing many young players from the Barcelona academy. The club have managed to make some good signings in the summer, like the experienced Maarten Stekelenburg and youngsters like Bojan Krkic and Erik Lamela.

Roma have appointed a new manager in Enrique, and the former Barcelona midfielder signed many talented players in the summer. It will most probably take time for the team to settle down and find the right combination, but if youngsters like Bojan and Lamela can realize their potential, Roma could be a very strong team in the future. It is clear that Enrique is not only planning for the short term, and he is trying to establish Roma among the strongest teams in Europe.

The team had a slow start to their season with a loss to Cagliari and draws against Inter Milan and Siena, before notching wins against Parma and Atalanta. They do have the confidence going into this fixture, and it will be important for them to have a good start to the game. It is a very important game for the club, and they will need their experienced players like Daniele De Rossi and some others to be at their best and guide the youngsters who might be playing in the Rome derby for the first time.

Roma's Francesco Totti will miss the game after failing to recover in time from a thigh injury, and it will undoubtedly be a huge blow to the team.

Maarten Stekelenburg could be fit for Roma, which is important considering that he is one of the best keepers in the world.

Daniele De Rossi could be the key player for them considering his quality in midfield, and his experience could be vital in the game.

Reja's team have come under plenty of pressure because of their slow start to the season, which included a loss and a draw against Milan and Genoa in the opening two games. In the last three league fixtures, they have managed to win twice and draw once. They are on eight points, which is the same as Roma, though they are one place below Roma at sixth because of their inferior goal difference.

The home game against Roma is arguably the biggest home game for the club, and they will hope that they can have a good result. Lazio striker Miroslave Klose is still a doubt for the fixture, but Reja will hope that he can start the game, because the Germany international is one of the most lethal strikers in the world.

It is important for the team to keep their cool, because this is a game where there is a good chance of players being sent off, and one moment of madness from an individual could have a big impact on the result. The club have the quality and the belief to beat their rivals, and should they play at their best, they will have an excellent chance to win this contest.

Predicted Lineup

Federico Marchetti, Andre Dias, Christian Ledesma, Stefan Radu, Mobido Diakite, Abdoulay Konko, Hernanes, Cristian Brocchi, Alvaro Gonzalez, Djibril Cisse, Miroslav Klose

It will be an exciting contest between two evenly matched teams, and they both consider this game as one of the biggest in their season. Roma and Lazio have both brought in new additions, and both of them need to find consistency at this point in the season.
