After the Rays were only able to muster two runs in Game 1, their lineup fared much better to open Saturday's contest.

RBI singles from Chandler Simpson and Junior Caminero put Tampa Bay up 2-0 in the top of the first inning before Liam Hicks launched a two-run home run to right field.

The Brewers quickly cut into the four-run deficit, as William Contreras and Garrett Mitchell picked up RBI singles of their own in the bottom of the first.

Milwaukee continued to chip away at Tampa Bay's lead as the game continued, pulling within one run after a fielding error by Jonathan Aranda allowed Cooper Pratt to score in the bottom of the fourth.

The Brewers finally tied the game to start the bottom of sixth inning, as Sal Frelick's solo shot represented Milwaukee's first home run of the Fall Classic.

In the ensuing frame, the Brewers took their first lead of the night with Pratt's RBI single.

The Rays had hope in the top of the ninth after Jonny DeLuca hit a leadoff double and advanced to third on a groundout, but couldn't drive him home.

Milwaukee's bullpen was spectacular after starter Logan Henderson only lasted three innings, as five Brewers relievers were utilized to keep Tampa Bay scoreless after its four-run first inning.

Game 3 is on Monday at 8 p.m. ET.
