Washington Redskins: Rex Grossman Promises Improvement but Can He Deliver?
Rex Grossman says the Washington Redskins will get better offensively, and there's probably no better time for him to back that up than on Sunday.
Things will get pretty interesting at FedEx Field with two teams on opposite ends of the spectrum taking a look at each other, and we all know there's no love lost here.
The Redskins are basking in the glow of that great 3-1 start of theirs while the boys from Philly are wallowing in the stink of that 1-4 record.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
There's been nothing short of chaos in the "City of Brotherly Love," where there isn't much love for Andy Reid or anyone else who's in a position of responsibility for that crash-and-burn start by the Eagles.
Nothing says desperation like 1-4, and nothing says "potential turnaround" like beating the team that sits atop your division.
The Eagles, no doubt, have read by now that Grossman has predicted the 'Skins will win the NFC East, while running back Tim Hightower one-upped him, seems he thinks we'll see these wags from Washington in the Super Bowl.
If you're wondering what may have motivated Grossman to make promises of better play, he may have left the video room feeling confident this week after watching a Philadelphia defense that is currently being coordinated by an offensive line coach, namely one Juan Castillo.
There's nothing better for a quarterback's confidence than knowing the other team's d-coordinator is in over his proverbial head.
What the heck—Grossman's just going with the flow on this one. Everyone's looked better lately against the Eagles. Alex Smith looked like Steve Young in that come-from-behind stunner that tagged these Eagles with their third loss two weeks back.
You can only imagine what Grossman was thinking to himself.
"Hey, how can we not be better against those bums?"
Grossman does have the luxury of a defense that has played quite well for Washington. That's a good thing, because the offense hasn't exactly been a scoring machine, and Grossman isn't going to make anyone forget about Joe Montana any time soon.
Can Grossman deliver on his promise?
Seeing as it's Philadelphia, he's got a darn good chance.
As for Hightower and the Super Bowl, that's another story.
