Fantasy Football Week 6 Projections: Wes Welker and 3 WRs Due for Monster Games
The most successful wide receivers can make plays even when it first appears none exist. They can get open even against the heaviest of coverages. Most importantly, they score touchdowns.
These guys, invariably, are fantasy football studs as well, and three of them are set for major games in Week 6.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Despite being held on Revis Island in last week's win over the New York Jets, Welker was still able to get open when it mattered. The Patriots receiver caught five receptions for 124 yards. Over the course of the season, he's pulled down 45 passes for 740 total yards and five touchdowns, averaging 148 yards per game.
In what will likely become a shootout, Welker will again have a 100-plus yard game, with a likely touchdown (or two) to add to his remarkable total.
Dez Bryant, Dallas Cowboys (at New England Patriots)
Bryant would be in a similar situation to Welker, were his quarterback more reliable and if he hadn't suffered a quad injury earlier in the season. His average yards per game reflects that missed game and injury, with Bryant averaging just 57.
However, his stats will benefit from what will be a high-scoring, big-passing contest against the Patriots on Sunday. In the two games in which Bryant was healthier, he pulled down three touchdowns.
Fully healed from his injury, he will be quarterback Tony Romo's primary big-play target against a soft New England secondary. Expect him to pull down a pair of scores.
Hakeem Nicks, New York Giants (vs. Buffalo Bills)
Another team with the potential to rely on the passing game this week is the New York Giants.
The team is struggling to consistently run the ball well. Against the high-scoring Bills, New York will likely find themselves behind and needing to catch up via the pass.
While quarterback Eli Manning has been relying more and more on his No. 2 and 3 receivers Mario Manningham and Victor Cruz, Nicks is his most valuable. With 43 targets and not a single drop, he's the most consistent receiver in the NFL.
Nicks has 28 catches for 412 yards and three touchdowns this season. He is averaging 82.4 yards per game. This week, against the Bills, he should easily add to that total and gain at least 100 passing yards and a score. Buffalo's secondary currently ranks just 28th against WR1s, even though they have an overall Top-10 passing defense.
