NFL Picks Week 5: Detroit Lions and 3 Teams Sure to Impress in Prime Time
Despite there only being two prime-time games each week, let's add one late-afternoon game in here for good measure.
Week 5 is surely going to be a big test for some teams needing to respond after a loss, as well as those trying to keep their momentum rolling.
So to that end, here are three teams sure to impress in "prime time."

New England Patriots (vs. New York Jets)
After the Week 3 loss to the Buffalo Bills, the New England Patriots shook it off, took their punches and got back to work in Week 4.
The win over the Raiders in Oakland right after a tough road loss just goes to show how mentally tough these Pats really are.
Most teams would have folded against a solid Raiders team, but coach Bill Belichick wouldn't let them and neither would QB Tom Brady.
For the New York Jets, however, the same cannot be said as Mark Sanchez and the Jets offense was owned by Ed Reed and the Baltimore Ravens.
In Week 5, the Jets visit the Pats, and although New York has played well versus New England as of recent, Brady shreds their weakened defense.
Also, the Jets are having trouble running the ball, which only gives Belichick an advantage.

Green Bay Packers (at Atlanta)
Week 5 on Sunday night is surely going to be a high scoring affair.
Both the Packers and Falcons have great offenses, but vulnerable pass defenses.
Green Bay, however, is the more consistent and effective offense, with an improving defense, while the Falcons are still about four steps back.
And although the game is in the Georgia Dome, did that matter in the 2010 postseason? No.
And it won't matter here because even with the Packers already having won a Super Bowl, the Falcons still have some proving to do, while Titletown looks to repeat.
The scariest part about 2011 is that the Green Bay Packers are even better this time around.

Detroit Lions (vs. Chicago)
Ah, the Motor City hosting the Windy City on Monday Night Football in what is slated to be a great game—for Detroit.
Because unfortunately for the Chicago Bears, they're still lacking consistency on offense and the defense is worse off than in 2010.
As for the Lions, they've been doing nothing but win and improve, as well as winning in multiple ways.
Now include that this game is on Monday night in Detroit, where the Lions are 4-0 and having arguably their best start since Bobby Lane was under center, all the odds are against the Bears in this one.
Detroit has too much energy and momentum rolling that not even the Monsters of the Midway can stand in the way.
