Derrick Rose's Top 12 Performances from 2010-11 NBA Regular Season
Derrick Rose celebrated his 23rd birthday on October 4, and the youngest MVP in NBA history really made an emphatic stamp on the league during the 2010-11 campaign.
Averaging 25.0 points per game, 4.1 rebounds and 7.7 assists and missing just a single regular season game, Rose put together an extraordinary highlight reel that left fans with their jaws on the ground marveling at his every move.
He established career high marks in almost every category across the board, and it wouldn't be surprising to see him take another substantial step forward as he enters his fourth professional season.
Let's take a stroll down memory lane and re-live some of his greatest moments from the regular season.

Rose didn't have his shooting stroke working at its finest in this one, but he did put on quite a show.

Rose led the Bulls to an absolute blowout against the Warriors, and it was one of his most efficient efforts of the campaign.
With a solid effort from the field, a very well balanced overall line and a 30-point margin of victory, Rose really put an emphatic stamp on his MVP season from the onset of the action.

It didn't result in the outcome that Rose and the Bulls would have liked, but 24 points and 14 assists is certainly nothing to sneeze at.
Another solid night shooting the rock for the point guard, but a lack of versatility across the spreadsheet has this one ranked at the back end of his most impressive performances from the regular season.
9. February 2, 2011 at Los Angeles Clippers

It's always impressive when a team's leader logs a solid double-double like this one, but it's even better when it comes in an 18-point victory.
This is the type of effort that speaks volumes about Rose's play on multiple levels, as it's important for good teams to dominate the lesser ones.
8. December 10, 2010 vs. Los Angeles Lakers

When Rose and the Bulls knocked off the defending champs, those that weren't taking the team seriously began to watch with a careful eye.
Despite the lack of steals in this particular effort, Rose's complete effort buttressed Chicago's attack and ultimately proved instrumental in the victory.

Another double-double? No problem for the youngest MVP in league history, and this one came when it was clearly needed against the Raptors.
With the margin of victory at just seven points, it was obvious that every single one of Rose's 36 were needed in this one.

It's amazing to see how many double-double efforts Rose racked up throughout the regular season, and it's especially impressive considering how he never showed a strong inclination for racking up the assists.
Another standout performance during a blowout of another Eastern Conference playoff team was becoming standard practice for Rose and his club at this juncture of the year.
5. November 24, 2010 at Phoenix

It doesn't get much uglier than a 14-of-33 performance from the field, and it's never a good thing when a player has the same amount of points as shots attempted, but let's put that to the side.
Rose had to be a volume shooter for his team to have any chance of emerging as victorious in this one, and his efforts on both the glass and facilitating the offense shouldn't be overlooked.
4. October 30, 2010 vs. Detroit

He scored, he rebounded, he dished the rock and led his team to a 10-point victory, Chicago's very first of the season.
Considering that he laid down this dynamic performance in just the second game of the regular season, it was pretty easy to see that 2010-11 was going to be a special season from this breakout performer.
3. December 25, 2010 vs. New York

The statistical output may not look as prolific as some of the others that have come before it, but when one considers his six steals to pair with seven boards and eight assists, the numbers become eye-popping.
It's a shame that he couldn't gift wrap the Bulls and their fans a victory on Christmas day, but it's fair to say that he certainly did more than his fair share.
2. December 4, 2010 vs. Houston

It's not a surprise that Rose's best efforts from the regular season came with well-rounded performances like this one, and his five steals were integral in this victory.
He got his teammates involved, shot it at an efficient clip from the floor, and was active throughout the process logging 44 big minutes in a squeaker.
1. March 26, 2011 at Milwaukee
12 of 12The Line: 9-of-17, 30 points, seven rebounds, 17 assists, no steals, 95-87 win
No steals, no problem for the MVP in this one, as any time he goes off for more than 30 points and 15 assists it's a performance that should be watched on a repeated basis.
Rose really looked like an elite point guard in this effort, and he was all over the floor whenever and wherever he needed to be on this night.
