Green Bay Packers: Why the Pack Have NFL's Best Shot at 16-0
Sure, it's way too early.
Way too early to talk 16-0, but at this point, it's not that hard.
Four weeks in and the NFL is down to two unbeatens, both in the same division.

It's not the least bit surprising to find Green Bay 4-0. It is surprising to see the Lions 4-0.
So, is it in the stars to have a 16-0 team this season? Common sense says "no," but when did that start becoming a part of the equation when the talk turns to football?
Packers or Lions? Time to go out on a fat limb and say the Pack.
Green Bay gets a decent test on Sunday when it travels to Atlanta, then plays in Lambeau against St. Louis then plays at Minnesota. It's not a stretch to get the Packers to 7-0, and then comes a bye week.
After a rest, the Packers go to San Diego, then come home to face Minnesota.
9-0 looks totally in the picture. That picture gets a bit cloudy after that. The Buccaneers come to town, and then, in Week 12, comes the biggie: at Detroit.
That contest in Week 12 at Ford Field could be a 12-0 Packers team against a Detroit team that maybe, nah, might be? Imagine that.
Should the Packers survive the likes of Stafford, Megatron, Suh and the rest, it gets easier: at the Giants, home against Oakland, at Kansas City, home against Chicago and then the Lions.
You can bet your cheese head that the biggest obstacle to an unbeaten season may well be those two games against Detroit. The way they've played the first quarter of the season, could it be that both the Packers and Lions are heading for the playoffs?
When was the last time Green Bay and Detroit made the playoffs? Might have to check that one in the Old Testament.
The Packers could go 16-0, but after the New England fiasco in 2007, you have to ask yourself if a team really wants to go 16-0?
It's not as much the 16 as it is what happens after that. It's the "P word"—you know, playoffs.
Unbeaten?
Just a thought.
The Lions found a way to go 0-16. What are the odds on that reversal?
I'll go check the Old Testament.
