I know what you must be thinking, we are cursed. A lesser side would think so after seeing a late goal by Borussia Dortmund equalize in Germany. But Arsenal is not a lesser side, at least, not anymore.
Arsene Wenger has righted the ship. I am confident that Arsenal has the staff to make some noise both domestically and abroad. However, a ship is not immune to the occasional wave.
That is all Tuesday's Champions League match was, a minor blip of a wave. Sure, it seems like more, especially in the dramatic fashion that Ivan Perisic volleyed home a marvelous equalizer.

After leading the whole match, and controlling the game with stout backline play, Arsene Wenger had to believe he was jinxed, at least a little.

Blackburn and Bolton have Arsenal next. We are about to see the depths of the new look Gunners. Arsene Wenger will need to measure out how his side plays in the next couple weeks.
The draw on Tuesday is acceptable, but Arsenal must get three points at some point. September 28 against Olympiakos is as good a time as any.
Perisic volleyed home what was a moonshot, and indefensible goal. At that point, you shake your head and move on. Arsenal did all they could in Dortmund. The real tests lie ahead, and that is where the Gunners need look.
