Six Teams Who Should Be Interested in Brady Quinn
Every day all the talk in Denver these days is about Tim Tebow even though Kyle Orton is clearly the starter. Tebow does seem to fit into the plans for the future though. That leaves Brady Quinn as the odd man out in spite having a very good camp and solid performance against Dallas.
When camp opened, there was a lot of talk of Orton going to the Miami Dolphins. That trade never happened and then there were talks of Tebow possibly being on the move. Being that Quinn seems to be rejuvenated this summer, some NFL teams might want to consider giving him a second look in spite his struggles in Cleveland.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Looking around the league there are definitely teams who have quarterback issues. The Oakland Raiders would be on this list, but as we all know the Broncos and Raiders would never trade with each other.
Cincinni Bengals
This team is at the top of the list. They got blown out by the Detroit Lions. That alone tells you that this team needs help. Andy Dalton was great at TCU but he will struggle on this team in that division. By bringing in Quinn, the Bengals could let Dalton sit and learn and stay alive in the meantime.
For Quinn, it would be a chance to get back at the Browns (his favorite team as a kid) after things ended the way they did for him there. Going to the cross-state rival would definitely be a shot at redemption. Unfortunately for Quinn, he would have the same trouble Dalton would if this deal went down. He would be on a bad team in a tough division.
But still, the Bengals need to do something. Having a guy like Quinn around who has been in the league for a few years could be helpful to Dalton.
Here is another team that needs help, especially at the quarterback position. They play the New England Patriots led by Tom Brady and the New York Jets led by Mark Sanchez twice each season. Right now they will come into 2011 with Ryan Fitzpatrick leading the team.
Do I need to say more?
Miami Dolphins
For whatever reason, this team is really unhappy with Chad Henne. I am not sure I understand why totally since he has still less than two full seasons of starting experience. Henne has some some promise.
Nonetheless, the Dolphins failed to acquire Orton in a trade. Instead they settle for career backup Matt Moore. He did begin last season as the starter for the Carolina Panthers. However, Moore played so poorly that he was replaced after two games by Jimmy Clausen who played so poorly they drafted Cam Newton.
Acquiring Quinn would make a lot of sense for the Dolphins. They can start the year with Henne and let Quinn get acclimated with the system. Then if they don't like where it is going, Quinn can get a shot. At the very least they get a good backup to Henne.
This is a no-brainer. After letting Matt Hasselbeck go, this team is now stuck with Tavaris Jackson and Charlie Whitehurst. Honestly, those are two guys that are both good backups. I do not see either of them as starters though. Quinn could come right in and compete for the starting job here.
It seems every year I ask myself, "how many more chances will this team give Alex Smith?" It is amazing that he keeps getting opportunities in spite of doing nothing with any of his opportunities. Rookie Colin Kaepernick is not ready for a NFL offense either. I figure that if Smith can get unlimited chances, certainly Quinn deserves one second chance.
This team already has a Pro Bowl QB in Jay Cutler. However, Cutler has been inconsistent in his career and this has to be the year in which he goes to the next level. If not, Quinn is a bit of a local hero because of his Notre Dame days.
At the very least, Quinn could serve as a good backup to Cutler. No disrespect to Caleb Haine, but having a backup with some experience is very important.
Looking at those six teams, I think any of them making a move for Quinn would make a lot of sense. The only thing is that Quinn appears to have finally found a coach in John Fox that he is comfortable with at the NFL level. A trade would yet again have to start with another coach. Then again, he does want to play in the NFL.
