Fantasy Football Week 10 Rankings: Tight Ends
Kellen Winslow set the bar high for tight ends for Week 10, surpassing the 100-yard mark and catching two touchdowns. Will any other tight ends be able to match his performance this week? To find out, read the Bruno Boys Fantasy Football Week 10 Tight End Rankings.
1. Antonio Gates (San Diego Chargers) vs. Kansas City
Gates' reception totals aren't up to par with years past, but the veteran playmaker is on pace to score his most touchdowns since the 2005 season. Plus, he is making it well known that he is healthy and primed for a big second half. It all starts in Week 10 against the Chiefs, whom Gates has scored against eight times in his career.
Point Projection: 15 points

2. Tony Gonzalez (Kansas City Chiefs) @ San Diego
Despite posting decent yardage totals in his career against San Diego, the Chargers have limited him to just six touchdowns in 22 games. However, Gonzalez (20 receptions in past three games) is thriving with Tyler Thigpen at quarterback, and he had two big games against the Chargers in 2007. Plus, it helps that San Diego ranks dead last against the pass this year.
Point Projection: 13 points
-------------------
3. Kellen Winslow (Cleveland Browns) vs. Denver
It's been a tough year for Winslow and his fantasy owners, but he made strides in the right direction last week and has a favorable matchup against a Broncos defense that allows over 240 passing yards per game. Also, with quarterback Brady Quinn making his first start, you can expect him to use Winslow as a check-down receiver.
Point Projection: 11 points
-------------------
4. Owen Daniels (Houston Texans) vs. Baltimore
Daniels ranks third at the tight-end position in both receptions and receiving yardage, and he is on pace to shatter all of his career bests. What we like about Daniels is the fact that he is averaging 7.8 targets per game, and with quarterback Sage Rosenfels under helm, we expect that number to increase. Rosenfels favors his reliable tight end and even against a stout Ravens defense, you can start him with confidence.
Point Projection: 9 points
-------------------
5. Dallas Clark (Indianapolis Colts) @ Pittsburgh
After a slow start, Clark has played himself into a reliable TE1 play. He has 19 receptions for 238 receiving yards and two touchdowns over the past three games and should be able to keep pace against the league-leading Steelers defense. We don't expect much from him, yardage-wise, but look for him to score a short-yardage touchdown this week.
Point Projection: 9 points
-------------------
6. Jeremy Shockey (New Orleans Saints) @ Atlanta
The bye week is just what the doctor ordered for Shockey. It gave him an extra 14 days to heal his knee and has him ready to prove his worth to the Saints fans and owners. Over the years, Shockey has had some big games against the Falcons, and I (Bruno Boys Cavigs) get the feeling his is due for a breakout in this contest.
Point Projection: 8 points
-------------------
7. Anthony Fasano (Miami Dolphins) vs. Seattle
Despite having just seven receptions over the past month, Fasano remains a red-zone threat and should have plenty of opportunities to produce fantasy points as the Seahawks' defense allows 258 passing yards per game. Plus, with Seattle allowing 26 points per game, we like Fasano's chances of scoring a touchdown also.
Point Projection: 8 points
