WWE: 5 Possibilities for Tyson Kidd's New Manager
Last week, I wrote a piece about Matt Striker becoming Tyson Kidd's newest managerial choice and how it looked like Kidd and Striker could turn each other's careers around. Then today's WWE Superstars was released. Matt Striker was not on his cell phone. Instead, he had a headset on. He wasn't at ringside with Tyson Kidd. Instead, he was sitting at a desk with Jack Korpela. Matt Striker was not Tyson Kidd's manager this week. Instead, it was Vickie Guerrero.
Guerrero marked the fourth different manager for Kidd in the past four weeks. Couple that group with Jackson Andrews, a former enforcer for Kidd that was released, and Natalya, Kidd's real-life girlfriend and former manager with The Hart Dynasty, and Tyson Kidd has now gone through a half dozen managers in his WWE career.
Kidd has now been dubbed "The Man of 1,000 Managers." If you wanted to see if Kidd would actually hit that number, his career seems to be reeling and it doesn't look like Kidd will get anywhere close to 1,000. If he is still going to be employed and still going to have new managers, he might as well pick some good ones. Here are five rather intriguing ones.
1. Jimmy Hart

The Mouth of the South shares a last name with Tyson Kidd's trainer, Stu Hart, and once managed The Hart Foundation, for whom The Hart Dynasty was formed upon. Hart recently signed back onto WWE and could use his Legends contract to pop back around WWE, even for a one-time appearance. I would love to see him and his megaphone freaking out, making Hart the most animated manager that Kidd will have had thus far.
2. Bill DeMott
2 of 5
DeMott is now finished with Tough Enough for the time being, so you know that he has some time on his hands. DeMott is actually one of the people who spotted Kidd and brought him into the WWE system.
DeMott has always been a guy who was rough around the edges and keeping him as a heel might be a good thing for him. Who knows? Maybe DeMott pops up as Andy Leavine's manager and turns on the young rookie to align with Kidd.
This would be a good idea if they actually brought storylines into Superstars matches. One can dream, I suppose.
3. Slick
3 of 5
We saw Slick return during the time that WWE went Old School, ironically the same night that Tyson Kidd officially turned heel. It certainly wouldn't be the oddest pairing that Slick ever had to deal with. After all, he once managed both The Iron Shiek and Nikolai Volkoff, which is not an easy feat.
4. Rosa Mendes
4 of 5
Rosa Mendes hardly has any matches, let alone TV time. The least that you could do for the sexy Diva is make her a manager for Kidd for one night only. Mendes was a great enforcer for Santino Marella and Beth Phoenix, as well as a great valet for Zack Ryder in his ECW days.
Mendes is a very beautiful woman and, considering that Kidd seems to only fight the Trent Barreta's and Yoshi Tatsu's of the world, Mendes at ringside could single-handedly bring a victory.
5. Lita
5 of 5
The woman that I always hoped Rosa Mendes would grow into being, Lita has managed everyone from Kane and Edge to Matt Hardy and Essa Rios. No job is too big or small for Lita, who can't wrestle anymore, but can look good and draw heat when she wants it.
She isn't the best talker, but her presence alone could pay off in the long run for Kidd. I'm just not so sure how Natalya would feel about it.
