Lil Yachty Says He Feels 'Like S--t' After WWE Debut Match, 'Most Pain I Ever Felt in My Life'

After making his WWE in-ring debut at Sunday Night's Main Event on Sept. 6, rapper Lil Yachty discussed the toll it took on him physically.

During an appearance on Insight with Chris Van Vliet (beginning at the 1:28 mark) the day after his debut match against Baron Corbin, Yachty said he felt "like s--t," before adding, "I feel like someone hit me with a bag of bricks."

After managing Trick Williams in recent months, Yachty finally had an official match at Sunday Night's Main Event, and the stakes were high.

If Yachty could last five minutes with Corbin without getting pinned or submitted, Trick would receive another shot at the U.S. title.

Yachty somehow managed to make it to the five-minute mark despite absorbing a ton of punishment, which led to Williams beating Corbin to become a two-time United States champion.

In speaking to Van Vliet (h/t Fightful Select), Yachty further explained the pain he was feeling after SNME, saying, "When I woke up this morning, my shoulder felt dislocated. My kneecaps, my shins. I couldn't even tighten my hand. As the day goes on, everything's loosening up. When I first sat up in bed, it was the most pain I ever felt in my life. Shins, knees, whatever this is behind the kneecap, my back, my lower back. I feel like I'm wrestling for 20 years. Man, it's bad."

A longtime pro wrestling fan, Yachty has often been seen seated front row at WWE events over the years, but he became an actual part of the show in March when he began accompanying Trick to the ring.

Despite his lack of experience in the wrestling business, it didn't take long before Yachty started getting physically involved, as he was on the receiving end of punishment from Sami Zayn leading up to and coming out of WrestleMania 42.

When Corbin beat Williams for the United States Championship at SummerSlam, it came after Corbin put Yachty through a table in what was the biggest spot of his young career to that point.

Now, Yachty has his first match under his belt and has managed to persevere through the pain, which suggests there could be even more in his future.
