Scott Laird was recently attacked by Stevenage fan Robert Fitzgerald. After appearing in court, it has been determined that Laird was attacked by Fitzgerald because Laird mistreated his ex-girlfriend and current girlfriend of Fitzgerald, Jade Coles.
Prior to the attack on Laird, Fitzgerald verbally abused and threw water and a hamburger at Laird.
