Which Season Of WWE NXT Rookies Do You Prefer?
Season two of NXT had its first elimination last night: Titus O'Neil was eliminated after coming up eighth in the pros/WWE universe poll.
O'Neil was the biggest dog in the fight in terms of sheer power, but now it looks like Eli Cottonwood is the new big man on campus.
Kaval ended up in the No. 1 spot after pulling out a victory in a three-on-three tag team match.

Lucky Cannon won immunity after winning the keg carrying contest and he seemed to be genuinely pumped when he won. This kid seems really excited to be in WWE.
So, season two is off to a decent start, why not find out which class is preferred by the fans?
Season one had its ups and downs for sure. Daniel Bryan made a huge impact with the fans, only to be released over an incident involving a neck tie and PG rules.
Wade Barrett became the standout star after winning season one. His promos improved greatly throughout his time on the show, and now I see him as a legit WWE star. Too bad his work visa expired and he will be off TV for a bit.
Justin Gabriel has the right look and finishing move to become very popular. He definitely needs to work on his mic skills, but I think he has a bright future.
Heath Slater holds arguably the best win of any of the rookies. He beat Chris Jericho cleanly in a one-on-one match, which is something I don't think anyone saw coming.
Michael Tarver, Skip Sheffield, Darren Young, and David Otunga seem more like filler to me than standout talents. Otunga has the previous exposure from his fiance, but his mic skills and in-ring work need a lot of improvement.
Season two may hold more promise as it contains some people who have been working towards this for a very long time.
Michael Mcgila macgilu, screw it, Joe Hennig is becoming one of my favorites very quickly. His style in the ring makes it clear that he has been training for years, and his father's influence is evident in his performances.
Husky Harris, or Windham Rotunda, is starting to impress me a bit more. His match against MVP last night showed that he has the ability to stay with guys who appear to be in much better shape than he is. I don't know if he can really run a 4.9 40-yard dash, but if he can then that is damn impressive.
Eli Cottonwood has an odd demeanor, to say the least. I could see him being Kane's student as a storyline due to their similar size and attitude towards pain.
Lucky Cannon reminds me a lot of Kerry Von Erich in his wrestling style and look. I think this kid has the "it" factor, but just needs to polish his promo skills a little bit.
Kaval is, by far, the fan favorite. He was known as Low-ki and Senshi before becoming Kaval. His time in TNA was not forgotten by many of his fans. Despite being off TV for two years, he is still known better than most of the rookies.
Titus O'neil is gone, so no point in mentioning him anymore.
Percy Watson is confusing to me. He has the charisma, but a strange gimmick that I can see getting old very fast. I hope he eventually cuts a promo as himself just to see what he is really like.
Alex Riley is already turning heads. His collegiate villain character is working out nicely, and he has the looks and style to fit right in with the other heels of WWE. I hope he loses the jacket though, it reminds me of Mike Rotunda from the '80s.
So there it is, a breakdown of the two classes of rookies. Which one do you like better based on what you have seen so far?
