Wait, Isn't Smackdown Supposed to Have The Depleted Roster?
Many of us were disappointed to see Smackdown stripped of most of it's big name talent in the 2010 draft. It wasn't very surprising. Smackdown only has a few months left on the failing My Network TV and ECW is no longer around to take talent from. After recent injuries and retirements, I think there's more of a balance between the two than any of us were expecting.
Edge and Jericho were the two top guys brought over to Monday Night Raw. Jericho had basically been appearing on Raw for most of last year anyway so this was no surprise. Edge wasn't the biggest surprise either though many of us thought that Randy Orton might make the jump to Friday nights. Clearly not.

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Shawn Michaels retired at Wrestlemania but this isn't an issue since he had been taking long hiatuses post Wrestlemania anyway. There had been rumors of Batista leaving as well but his departure was a shock nonetheless.
That covers the retirement front. Raw loses a top face and its top heel and gains Smackdown's two top heels (I won't acknowledge Edge's face turn). Doesn't seem too bad, eh?
False.
Triple H is taking time off to recover and the Viper was injured at Over the Limit during his match with Edge. Raw now loses two of it's three top faces, though I still have trouble believing that Orton is actually a face. He's still scheduled for the Fatal Four Way PPV but I think his involvement will be seriously limited.
Raw has a great undercard and we got a chance to see them in action last Monday. Evan Bourne began to regain some momentum that we hadn't seen since his ECW days. Sheamus looks as good as he did as WWE champion. He's not quite at Batista's level yet but he's showing a lot of promise.
We even saw Zack Ryder get some airtime. Woo, woo, woo, could the WWE know it?
Smackdown has recently lost the Undertaker, again. This may not even be the end of the world as Kane delivered one of his best promos in a very, very long time. The SES continues to hold down the fort and it's only a matter of time before this years draftees make their make on Friday nights.
Hope Swagger gets a good title run.
Raw will be fine. The main event talent is lacking right now but Smackdown can't afford any more losses. Raw needs to fix it's problems internally. This isn't an issue as The Miz, John Morrison, Evan Bourne, Zack Ryder, are just a few of the talents who are ready to step up.
WWE, give them the ball and let them roll with it. You won't regret it.
