Raheem Mostert: 49ers Using 'Unfinished Business' Motto After Super Bowl Loss
Falling short in the Super Bowl isn't something the San Francisco 49ers will soon forget.
"We have unfinished business," running back Raheem Mostert said, per the Mercury News' Cam Inman. "That's our motto and what we believe in. But we're looking Week 1 against the Cardinals."
Not only claiming a second successive NFC title but also going a step further is an attainable goal for Mostert and his Niners teammates to set.

2025 Draft Picks Ready For Leap 🐸

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
The bulk of last year's team is back, and in the case of two notable departures, the front office made a priority of lining up replacements. Seven-time Pro Bowler Trent Williams is taking over for the retired Joe Staley, while first-round draft pick Javon Kinlaw will help fill the void left by DeForest Buckner following his trade to the Indianapolis Colts.
San Francisco sat fourth in B/R's most recent power ranking for 2020. The New Orleans Saints (third) were the only NFC team ranked higher.
Making back-to-back Super Bowls will obviously be difficult, but it's something the New England Patriots have pulled off multiple times throughout their dynastic run. The Seattle Seahawks achieved the feat as well, with Richard Sherman a key piece in making that happen.
Having Sherman around will be invaluable in that regard because he can relay the experience of that run and explain to his fellow 49ers what they need to do to make it happen.
For San Francisco, remembering the sting of watching the Kansas City Chiefs lift the Vince Lombardi Trophy will be a great way to diminish any complacency that might have set in from last season's success.
