Report: Jay Ajayi Sued for Trashing LA Mansion; Accused of Pushing Home Owner

Scott PolacekMay 14, 2018

Philadelphia Eagles running back Jay Ajayi is reportedly the subject of a lawsuit centered around his behavior while staying in a Los Angeles mansion.

According to a summary of the lawsuit from TMZ Sports, Ajayi stayed at the house after the Eagles won the Super Bowl and threw multiple parties despite being told not to by the owner. The owner said the running back "pushed [him] on [his] chest in a menacing and threatening manner" when confronted about the parties and damage to a table and floors.

TMZ noted the owner charges $5,000 per party, but Ajayi did not pay the $25,000 penalty fees he accumulated.

However, a representative for Ajayi denies he pushed the house owner and damaged the house, per TMZ.

Ajayi allegedly threw the parties in the days after he ran for 57 yards in the Super Bowl victory over the New England Patriots. He also tallied 873 rushing yards during the regular season for the Eagles and Miami Dolphins.

Philadelphia acquired him via trade in October.

The 24-year-old is set to be an unrestricted free agent following the 2018 campaign and figures to see significant playing time this year alongside fellow running backs Corey Clement and Wendell Smallwood.
