Standings
There are still important games to be played before the regular season comes to a close, but for now, here's a look at how the current standings shake out.
| Florida | 20-7 | 41-12 | 1 |
| Georgia | 16-11 | 35-16 | 3 |
| South Carolina | 15-12 | 30-21 | 44 |
| Kentucky | 13-14 | 33-18 | 17 |
| Vanderbilt | 12-14 | 26-24 | 41 |
| Tennessee | 11-15 | 28-24 | 63 |
| Missouri | 10-17 | 31-20 | 33 |
| Arkansas | 17-10 | 36-15 | 5 |
| Ole Miss | 16-11 | 39-13 | 10 |
| LSU | 14-13 | 31-21 | 46 |
| Auburn | 13-14 | 35-17 | 7 |
| Texas A&M | 12-15 | 34-17 | 13 |
| Mississippi State | 12-15 | 28-24 | 35 |
| Alabama | 7-20 | 26-27 | 81 |
Arkansas and Georgia will be the big matchup of the upcoming weekend, as two of the nation's top teams will square off with their sights set on a top seed.
However, in terms of significance, no matchup is bigger than Missouri and Tennessee.
Since only the top 12 teams in the conference earn a spot in the SEC tournament, those two teams could wind up battling for the final spot, with Alabama already eliminated from the mix.
Schedule
With the seeding not yet decided, the best we can do for a schedule right now is give an idea of when each seed will be in action when the tournament begins and what time each of the games will be played.

Format
The tournament opens with a round of single-elimination games, narrowing the field from 12 to eight heading into Wednesday's action.
From there, it's a double-elimination tournament until four teams are left standing, at which point it's back to single-elimination for the semifinals and finals.
The ultimate goal here is a spot in the field of 64 teams for this year's College World Series, and there will no doubt be more than a few SEC schools vying for a place in Omaha.
In their latest bracket projection on May 9, Teddy Cahill and Michael Lananna of Baseball America had a whopping 11 SEC teams among the projected field.
Florida (1), Arkansas (5), Georgia (7), Ole Miss (8) and Auburn (9) were all seeded and hosting a regional, while Kentucky, LSU, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt were also part of the field.
Florida is the team to beat—both in the SEC tournament and nationally—but there is no shortage of talent top-to-bottom in the nation's most-stacked conference.
