Gennaro Gattuso Says 'Club to Decide' on Gianluigi Donnarumma Future
AC Milan manager Gennaro Gattuso has hinted that star goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma could leave the club this summer.
Gattuso was asked about the 19-year-old's position at the San Siro following the 4-0 loss to Juventus in Wednesday's Coppa Italia final and distanced himself from any transfer talk, insisting others will make a decision on the stopper.
"At this moment, Donnarumma is the Milan goalkeeper," he said, per Football Italia. "The rest is down to the club. I am the coach. All I do is train the players who are put at my disposal. As far as I am concerned, Donnarumma is one of the most important goalkeepers in the world. It's up to the club to decide what to do next."

As Football Italia reported, Milan are poised to bring in Napoli goalkeeper Pepe Reina in the summer on a free transfer.
Donnarumma's future has been a topic of debate for some time. According to L'Equipe, Paris Saint-Germain are on the hunt for a new stopper in the summer and have eyed the Milan man as a potential replacement for Alphonse Areola (h/t Football Italia).
The teenager has been lauded throughout his short career, although on Wednesday, he offered a reminder of his naivety, as a couple of errors allowed Juve to score. Football writer Arjun Pradeep summed up a tough outing for Donnarumma:
ItalianFootballTV believes the Azzurri star will bounce back from a rough night against the Bianconeri:
Despite the poor display, there's no doubting the Milan man's quality. And if he were to move on this summer, whoever signs him would be getting a special goalkeeper.
Having made his first-team debut for the Rossonerri when he was just 16, Donnarumma is already well-known.

He not only makes spectacular saves, but he also commands his penalty box with the composure of a veteran. If he continues to make strides, he will be one of the best goalkeepers in the world.
As we can see, courtesy of OptaPaolo, the 19-year-old recently passed a landmark number of games:
In an ideal world, Milan would keep one of their own and build a side around him for years to come. However, after a contract dispute last summer and supporters' consequent banners denouncing the goalkeeper, there is tension surrounding his future at the San Siro.
If PSG could capitalise, they would be in possession of one of the game's best young stars and someone with the potential to be an upgrade on their current options. Given the circus that's surrounded him at Milan, Donnarumma would also surely be tempted by a fresh start elsewhere.
