Dodgers' Clayton Kershaw's MRI Results Reveal Arm Injury Is Biceps Tendinitis
An MRI Sunday confirmed that Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw is currently dealing with biceps tendinitis, according to Pedro Moura of The Athletic.
The team announced earlier in the day that he would be placed on the 10-day disabled list.
Kershaw is expected to begin rehabbing the injury Monday.

As John Hartung of Sportsnet LA noted, Felix Hernandez missed about six weeks with the same injury in 2017 while Danny Duffy missed five weeks in 2015.
Kershaw had been struggling by his standards this season, posting a 1-4 record with a 2.86 ERA in seven starts. He has allowed nine earned runs in his last three appearances.
While his ERA is good enough for 12th in the league, it's much higher than we have come to expect from one of the best pitchers in the league.
From 2011 to 2017, Kershaw is 118-41 with a 2.10 ERA and 10.1 strikeouts per nine innings. In that time, he has seven All-Star appearances, three Cy Young awards and an MVP, finishing in the top five of the Cy Young in each season.
Unfortunately, injuries have become a significant issue for him over the past few years, with back injuries causing him to miss large chunks of the last two seasons.
With the Dodgers struggling to a 15-19 record to start the 2018 season, losing Kershaw for another extended stretch could end up devastating for the team's chances of contention.
