Masai Ujiri Fined $25,000 for Walking on Court in Cavaliers vs. Raptors Game 3

The problems for the Toronto Raptors continue to add up.

The NBA fined general manager Masai Ujiri $25,000 Sunday for confronting officials on the court during Saturday's Game 3 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers, according to Ben Golliver of Sports Illustrated.

The incident came at halftime of the eventual 105-103 loss, which put the Cavaliers up 3-0 in the second-round matchup.

Jeff Zillgitt of USA Today described the situation leading to the confrontation:

The Raptors were called for 28 fouls in the loss compared to 19 for the Cavaliers, while they earned 10 more fouls than their opponent in Game 2.

Regardless of the calls, Toronto is now just one game away from elimination after arguably the best season in franchise history. The squad earned the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference with a 59-23 record but have struggled so far in the postseason and now need a road win in Game 4 Monday just to avoid a sweep.

Unless the team can muster four straight wins, it will be the third year in a row the Raptors' season will end at the hands of LeBron James and the Cavaliers.

This frustration has carried over from the team to the fanbase and apparently now the front office, as Ujiri could not keep his emotions in check in the biggest game of the year.
