Milos Teodosic Foot Injury Diagnosed as Torn Plantar Fascia; Out Indefinitely
Los Angeles Clippers guard Milos Teodosic could miss the remainder of the season due to a torn left plantar fascia.
Per Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times, the Clippers announced Teodosic's injury will keep him out indefinitely, and he will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
Teodosic suffered the injury during Tuesday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks, leaving that contest in the second quarter.
Clippers head coach Doc Rivers didn't sound optimistic about Teodosic's prognosis when speaking to reporters after the Bucks' game.
"He's been playing great," Rivers said, via Broderick Turner of the Los Angeles Times. "He's not going to be playing for a while. But I thought he really started to play really well. His shot was falling, which I thought sets all the other stuff up. But he's out now."
The 31-year-old Teodosic is playing his first season in the NBA after playing six years with CSKA Moscow in the EuroLeague. He is averaging 9.5 points and 4.6 assists per game for the Clippers.
The Clippers' final game of the regular season is on April 11. They enter play on Friday with a 41-34 record, one game behind the Utah Jazz for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
